I used the services of this travel agency and was very satisfied. Guide Samuel was very polite, gave full information about the places we visited and the country, answered all my questions and took into account all my wishes. I always felt safe. I definitely recommend this company.
I won't put this trip high on the "must do" list. It is more of a "been there" event. The ride from Kampala was over some pretty rough roads with a lot of traffic. I may have been there at the wrong time because I seemed to be the only tourist.
Hello Allan Thanks a lot for this feedback, it's much appreciated as we take all feedback to be very important, Having read it clearly we can only apologize for having failed to live to you' expectations, we're very sorry for the tough roads and the too much traffic, however that's the only road to Jinja from Kampala and most people having been comfortable with it. We promise to forward this voice to the authorities, to think about improving it. Warms Regards Fred
impressive trip on the road to Jinja. Depending on fine weather and only a few number tourists it was very comfortale.
It's a lovely area on a nice day, make sure that you have a guide if you are an "out of towner" and take the boat ride. It's great to take in the Lake Victoria scenery and see just where the Nile starts (according to Uganda). Learn about what happened when the dam was built downstream and have lunch at the Jinja Yacht Club. Great day out if you are staying in Kampala
Enjoyed taking in the local surroundings including the vast expanse of Lake Victoria, the fishing industry, the fishing village, bird and other wild life before the main event. Difficult to articulate adequately, the absolute pleasure I felt at seeing and standing at the source of this great and historical river which I had only seen at the top of the Continent in Cairo. I also learned that to the locals, this river was known as “Kiira” signifying the sound of the falls. Disappointingly this fact has been submerged in history.
