Ausgehend von Ihrem Hotel beginnt dieses Wanderabenteuer auf einer einzigartigsten Entdeckungs- und Orientierungstour, die jemals von Paris angeboten wurde! Es wird Ihr 1. Tag in Paris genannt, weil sich dieses mehr als 2-stündige Erlebnis darauf konzentriert, Ihnen die Freiheit zu vermitteln, wie man Paris erlebt, während Sie gleichzeitig so viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie möglich genießen. Die Tour ist so viel mehr als nur Fakten und Zahlen. Sie taucht Sie in die Pariser Kultur ein und vermittelt dem Besucher, wie die Dinge funktionieren, wie man sich fortbewegt, welche Bereiche sicher sind, Tickets kaufen, mit Bus und U-Bahn fahren und sich vor Taschendieben schützen , in einem Café oder in einer Bäckerei bestellen. Natürlich können Sie erstaunliche Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen, verborgene Schätze und malerische Viertel finden und an den wichtigsten Denkmälern, Museen und Parks in ganz Paris vorbeikommen, darunter der Eiffelturm, die Champs Elysées, der Montmartre, der Louvre, das Marais, die Oper, Orte, Notre-Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg, Montparnasse und mehr.

Wenn wir es hierher schaffen, betreten wir die älteste Kirche von Paris. Und wir kommen an dem berühmten Café vorbei, in dem Emily in Paris und Hemingway ihre heiße Schokolade trinken.
Wir erkunden verborgene Schätze rund um das Quartier Latin. Je nach Zeit sehen wir die berühmten Cafés von Saint-Germain-des-Prés, seine 1000 Jahre alte Kirche, mittelalterliche Straßen und Denkmäler, sogar eine Picasso-Skulptur.
Während wir die älteste Brücke von Paris überqueren, halten wir für ein Fotomotiv an und sehen alle Punkte, die diesen Teil von Paris wirklich zum Herzen der Stadt machen.
Wir halten an, um ein Foto zu machen, während wir vom linken zum rechten Ufer wandern und die berühmte Kathedrale der Insel besichtigen. Wenn es in einem Jahr wiedereröffnet wird, werden wir es betreten.

This was a great thing to do when we first arrived in Paris. He helped orient us to the metro, bus and subway. We discussed what we were visiting while in town and he helped us figure out all the best routes. We felt really confident the rest of the week navigating the city and meeting all our tour guides. He also told us some of the history of Paris as we walked around.

This helped me with confidence to explore Paris and feel secure about using the Metro. I was introduced to the various sections of Paris, how to use the ubiquitous maps for directions to travel the Metro and a great walk around the area I was staying in, the Marais. Thor was a great guide who showed us some of the many sites in Paris and got us familiar with the metro. He also explained cafe etiquette and some history as well as road rules. Highly recommend Thor and this tour for first timers to Paris!

Thor was prompt meeting us at our apartment, and we quickly started exploring our neighbourhood. Since we had plans to use the subway and the train, he made sure we knew how get tickets, read the maps, use the posted information at the stops, and get to where we were going. He also gave us excellent information on how to avoid pickpockets and scams. It was like having a friend to show you the ropes in Paris!
