Monzen Terrace Enya ist ein großartiger Ort zum Essen in Nagano, Japan. Es liegt etwas abseits der Innenstadt von Nagano, liegt jedoch recht nahe am Zenkoji-Tempel und ist als Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist eine fantasievolle Mischung aus westlichen (z. B. Pizza und Pasta) und japanischen Stilrichtungen.
Der Jigokudani-Affenpark (地獄谷野猿公苑, Jigokudani Yaen Kōen) bietet Besuchern das einzigartige Erlebnis, wilde Affen beim Baden in einer natürlichen heißen Quelle zu beobachten. Sie steigen aus dem Fahrzeug und machen einen sanften 30-minütigen Spaziergang durch einen spektakulären Wald, bis Sie zu einer Schlucht gelangen. Zu einem sehr günstigen Preis betreten Sie dann den Sperrbereich, wo Sie sich aufhalten und den Affen beim Spielen und Baden zusehen können. Der Park wird von Japanmakaken bewohnt, die auch als Schneeaffen bekannt sind.

Ali was very accommodating with our group. He arranged everything for us, he got us as close to the snow monkey park as possible, and he gave us great tips for visiting the temple. Our children don’t do well with structured tours so this was perfect for us.
This private Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple tour was a great day out. Moiz was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The sake tasting was a nice bonus, and the private tour made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our day exploring the Monkey Park. The hike through the forest was beautiful and our guide and driver (Ali and Abdul) did a great job. While we didn’t see many monkeys since it was off season, we had a great day. My advice: go at a different time of year but request Ali and Abdul to be your driver and guide!

We had an amazing time on the 1-Day Private Snow Monkey Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour! From the moment we met our guide, everything was seamless. Extremely Disappointed. "Smile" tours misrepresented what it delivers. This is a driver service only. There is no guide for the monkey park or temple. There is no sake tasting. The lunch was not good - it included the worst sushi I've ever had. This company is trying to present itself as another company that actually offers an English speaking guide to the attractions. And it takes longer than 6 hours, since they don't mention the two hour roundtrip drive to the monkey park. Our driver was a nice person but he could have spoken Japanese and it wouldn't have mattered since he barely spoke to us...
