Great experience! Learned all the basic I need to know to go out and surf on my own
Frankly was great! Gave good instructions and was good with my 14 year old daughter. He helped another kid just to be a nice guy.
Vary nice trainers they where able to get my 9 year old on a board even tho he was vary scared.and my 8 year old isn't a good swimmer but we only went out to about 4 feet of water
My family had an awesome time surfing. The instructors were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend
We absolutely loved our surf lessons, my fiance and I had never surfed before in our lives and by the end we were riding waves! It was amazing and the instructors were very nice and cool. I would recommend them 1000000/10 great time we would love to come back

The site said it was open so we booked, when I got there he was in the water doing a lesson, then when he was done told me that he was done for the day and the site should t have let me book. While my 6 year old stood there having waited all day, he told me if I cared so much I should have booked sooner… even though I booked and paid here. Eventually after me begging, offering to sit and watch his beach chair business, and pleading in tears, his friend offered to do the lesson. He was our savior! But I would never book with this or big kahuna again, they are the same company and he doesn’t honor the 3rd party bookings, and doesn’t care about the client. It was a horrific experience that should not have happened, and the only redemption was that his friend happened to be there and saved the day! But be warned - do NOT book here! He doesn’t honor the third party booking agencies and has no qualms about telling you it’s somehow your fault and should have known he was booked. Heed this warning and find a different company!!!!!!!!
First of all, we absolutely do honor third-party bookings. Your booking was a somewhat confusing situation because you booked me the same day of on a really busy day and it just caught me off guard. If I was a little bit grumpy to you, I apologized to you in person and I’ll apologize to you again right now because I was in the water from 9 AM to 3 PM and I hadn’t had a bite to eat. And all I told you was I couldn’t do the Lesson and I would have to refund you. We generally need 24 hours in advance to book lessons as stated on all of our websites and unfortunately, we can’t accommodate every single last minute lesson. This is just the nature of this business. And yes, like you mentioned, my instructor ended up doing the lesson and your kid was very happy and had a great time Surfing. He was up surfing within five minutes and he did amazing. This is representative of my team as I only hired the best and we are extremely good at what we do. I shook your hand on the way out apologized to you multiple times I even sent you a text that night saying sorry about the confusion but glad it all worked out. So the fact that you still left us a one star review is not only confusing, but in my opinion, unfair and not representative of our company as we only have five star reviews . This bad review not only hurts me, but it also hurts my instructor which your son was so happy with and you ended up even leaving him a $50 tip. Doesn’t make sense why you would leave him a $50 tip if you feel you had a one star experience with us. But anyways, we will use this feedback to improve and better ourselves and make sure these things don’t happen in the future. Thank you for your feedback and reach out to us if you need anything. I loved this experience! Two of my kids (16 & 7) were riding the waves like a pro after their first lesson!
Wow! We had a fantastic experience. Taylor, our teacher, was awesome! He guided us-a nervous older mom (54 yrs. old) and son (12 yrs. old) for our first ever surfing experience. Taylor listened to what we wanted and made us feel safe and comfortable in the water. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
