Hampi an einem Tag führt Sie zurück ins 16. Jahrhundert, als es eine blühende Weltstadt war. Ein professioneller Führer wird dieses Weltkulturerbe, das oft als das größte Freilichtmuseum der Welt gilt, zum Leben erwecken. Einige der Höhepunkte sind der prächtige Vittala-Tempel und der Steinwagen, die Waage des Königs, der Virupaksha-Tempel, monolithische Statuen und das Bad der Königin. Wir beginnen unsere Tour durch Hampi an einem Tag im Vijaya Vittala Tempel, dem wahrscheinlich großartigsten Meisterwerk der Gegend. Es ist auf einem Polyederfundament aufgebaut. Ganz vorne steht der weltberühmte Steinwagen aus Rohquarz. Sie werden Figuren von Soldaten, Jägern und sogar ausländischen Besuchern wie Portugiesen und Arabern entdecken, die in den Streitwagen eingraviert sind. Die musikalischen Säulen des Tempels sind eines der größten Kunstwerke der Menschheit.
King’s Balance ist das letzte Ziel. Dies ist ein riesiger Steinrahmen östlich von Purandara Mantapa. Ein Steinbalken wird auf zwei Steinsäulen gelegt. Der Legende nach haben die großzügigen Könige von Vijayanagara sie mit Gold und Edelsteinen gewogen und unter den Armen verteilt.
Wir besuchen den prächtigen Virupaksha-Tempel als nächstes auf unserer Hampi-Tour ab Bangalore. Er stammt aus der Hoysala-Zeit und ist der älteste Tempel in Hampi. Der Tempelturm hat elf Stockwerke und erreicht eine Höhe von 165 Fuß. Im Inneren fließt der Fluss Tungabhadra.
Der Sasivekalu-Ganesha-Tempel ist eine riesige Statue von Lord Ganesha, die aus einem einzigen Felsblock gehauen wurde. Wir werden diesen 8 Fuß großen Herrn besuchen.
Sie finden das größte Idol von Hampi, nur wenige Meter von Badavi Linga entfernt. Ugra Narasimha ist 22 Fuß hoch und wurde von einem Brahmanen während der Zeit von Krishnadevaraya geschnitzt. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich eine Schlange mit offener Kapuze.
Das königliche Gehege von Hampi war der Machtsitz des Vijayanagara-Königreichs. Dieser Bereich besteht aus Durbar-Hallen, Plattformen, Tanks, unterirdischen Kammern und Tempeln. Wir beginnen am Queen’s Bath, einem prächtigen Bauwerk, das einst die private Badekammer für die Könige des Vijaynagara-Reiches war.
Als nächstes besuchen wir das Zanana-Gehege, das der Ort für die königlichen Frauen war. Der Lotus Mahal ist hier das beeindruckendste Bauwerk. Es ist ein Palast, ein zweistöckiges Gebäude, das von einer rechteckigen Mauer und vier Türmen umgeben ist. Der Palast bekommt ein Lotus-ähnliches Aussehen mit pyramidenförmigen Türmen.
Wir besuchen den einzigen Tempel im königlichen Enclosure. Hazara Rama ist ein Tempel, der Lord Ram gewidmet ist, der Inkarnation von Vishnu.
Vor Ende des Tages werden wir auch einen ausgegrabenen Wassertank, ein Verwaltungsgebäude und einen unterirdischen Shiva-Tempel besucht haben.

We had a positive experience and would recommend 5 Senses as an operator and guide Rajesh. 5 Senses had excellent communication - extremely responsive and professional. Rajesh was friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about our comfort and interests. Two additional bonuses of the day were a trip to the local Hampi museum and a fantastic lunch at Mango Tree - both of which I also recommend. Driver Mutturaj was helpful, patient, and punctual.
I recently booked a highly complex, fast-paced trip through Hampi, Hyderabad, Mysore, and Bengaluru. The guides were professional and friendly, though their knowledge was generally average (tending toward rote memorization of dates and facts rather than deeper insights). Their English was sometimes difficult to follow. Value: Excellent price-to-quality ratio. Overall, I highly recommend this tour operator for anyone needing reliable logistics for a demanding itinerary.

Very soon after booking our tour we were contacted via WhatsApp by our guide Rajesh to introduce himself and check arrangements. He also checked with us a couple more times before our trip. The day before he also sent us details of our driver Vikram with his contact details. This was very professional and reassuring. On the day Vikram was bang on time picking us up from our hotel and took us to Hampi where Rajesh met us. His tour was very well paced and arranged so that we saw the main sites before it got too hot and the museum after lunch. We particularly liked his use of videos and photos on his phone to explain the site and elements of the Hindu religion. His explanations of the sites were excellent and detailed and nothing was too much trouble. Vikram was a very careful and safe driver. We really enjoyed our tour and recommend Viator, Rajesh and Vikram.

This is a very renowned UNESCO heritage site to visit once in a lifetime. You will need at least 3-5 days to visit all the places; hence, plan accordingly. Veg food is difficult to get; hence, search and plan for that—MangoTree is a good restaurant.
Great experience and explanation with Mr Rajesh to visit the lost city of Hampi. He also recommended us a great spot for sunset over Hampi.
Our guide Akhil gave us a full day tour of all the major Hampi sites. We had a terrific lunch at the Mango tree then continued touring sites. One of the hi-lights was taking a boat rock to see the ancient temples there. Highly recommend this guide and driver. The car was comfortable with AC.
The tour of the Hampi ruins was a very enjoyable experience, as it felt like a different world. As I am not good at English, it was helpful that the explanations were given slowly and in simple English. The driver was also very kind and drove safely, so I was able to sightsee with peace of mind. Thank you very much.
