Denne dagstur tager dig gennem den charmerende Garmisch-Partenkirchen til Zugspitze, det højeste bjerg i Tyskland. Du starter din opstigning med den nye kabelbane, som vil tage dig til den næsten 3.000 meter høje bjergtop i blot ti minutter. Efter at have nydt den spændende udsigt over mere end 400 toppe, kan du udforske landskabet på en kort vandretur. For dem, der kan lide tingene lidt hurtigere, er en rodet bakke tilgængelig på den evige is i sommermånederne. Toboggans kan lånes gratis. I de mange restauranter (som også tilbyder vegetariske og halal menuer) kan du nyde kulinariske fornøjelser. Nedstigningen finder derefter sted med den historiske rack jernbane.

Efter en 2-timers kørsel fra München med livekommentarer ankommer du til Eibsee. Der vil du tage svævebanen op ad Zugspitze.
Efter en times ophold på udsigtsplatformen går du til det gyldne topkryds (ca. 45-60 min.) og kl. 14.00 ca. du tager svævebanen til "Zugspitzplatt" med gletsjer. Du har lidt tid til rådighed til at spise frokost eller tid til en bob-rutchebane på gletsjeren (restauranter med selvbetjening og halalmad). Ved ca. 16.00 Mødes på Zugspitzstation for at gå ned med tandhjulstoget, og kl. 16.45 starter du buskørslen tilbage til München.

What an unforgettable day at Zugspitze! From the very first moment to the last, the views were absolutely breathtaking — every turn offered something more stunning than the last. The entire trip was beautifully organized from start to finish. Our guide, Monika, made the experience truly special — she was warm, attentive, and endlessly patient with us. Our driver, Matko, did a fantastic job getting us safely and smoothly through it all. Together they made the whole day feel effortless and fun. The journey itself was magical — from the lush green valleys below, all the way up to the mountain peaks and the stunning glacier plateau at the top. Every part of the experience felt like something out of a postcard. This is truly a must-see destination, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!”

Terrible service from Viator. The pick up point in the app didn’t specify a building number (just a vast square). I messaged the day before my trip to clarify this and they gave me the wrong address. I arrived punctually at that address the morning of my trip. I was suspicious because there were no signs of a bus/other travellers. So I messaged again. Again, they told me the same address. Turns out it was completely wrong. I missed the trip and was left stranded alone with a small child. No offer to catch me up to the tour (which had only departed 4 mins before the mistake was realised). No offer of support at all. In fact, the agent on the chat started trying to position this as somehow my fault. Terrible and very upsetting experience, especially as a single parent trying to travel alone with a child like any other family.

According to your description, you contacted Viator in advance specifically to confirm the meeting point and were unfortunately given incorrect information. As the tour had already departed from the designated meeting point, our team was unfortunately unable to delay the scheduled excursion or arrange an individual pickup after departure. We fully understand your frustration, particularly as you had actively tried to verify the correct location beforehand. We therefore recommend addressing the matter directly with Viator, as they provided the incorrect meeting-point information and handled the communication described in your review. We sincerely regret that this prevented you and your child from joining our Zugspitze tour as planned.

Stunning views from the Bavarian Alps. We had a perfect day weather wise. The Zugspitze cable car is stunning. The cogwheel train down was great too. Got to see a glacier for the first time and had a lovely meal and beer at the top of Zugspitze
