We experienced the Yummy Yummy tour on the evening of Friday November 14th, led by our wonderful guide Michelle and our skillful driver Ganesh. After a warm greeting in our hotel lobby, we were taken to the beautiful Thian Hou Buddhist temple where we took pictures and Michelle provided us with insight into the Buddhist religion. We then stopped outside the Merdeka 118 tower, second tallest building in the world, to take some photos of this architectural marvel. The highlight was the stop at a Malaysian street food market, where we sampled some satays, barbecued chicken, noodles and pineapple rice… all of it tasty and satisfying, and after a few minutes, we were stuffed. After our delightful street food experience, we visited KL’s independence park to gain greater appreciation of Malaysian’s pride in their independence. Our final stop was outside of the famed Petronas Towers, where we quickly snapped a few pics of the iconic symbol of KL. Overall we had a terrific experience and would not hesitate to recommend this tour with Michelle and Ganesh.

Michelle thank you for a wonderful insight into the history and sites of KL- Jen and I both agreed you have made our stay a little more special . We will give you 5 stars and let our RACV. Travel agent know about you.
Dear Respected Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
Our guide Michelle was excellent, her knowledge on the site seeing was great. The streetfood she chose for us was brilliant. Our driver Wesley was very informative as we drove around, his explanation of how to prepare the pineapple seafood fried rice was great.
Dear Respected Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
Great trip, thanks to Michelle & Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours & Travel. Michelle went out her way to accommodate dietary needs and allergies on this street food trip, asking our preferences and then ordering a variety of “yummy yummy” dishes for us to try such as satay/coconut buns/vegetarian rice dishes etc. Both her and Wesley were great company and shared insights into Kuala Lumpur’s culture and heritage, taking us to Then Hou Temple, a night tour of Merdeka Square and photo-stop’s at King's Palace and the River Of Life, a good trip that I would highly recommend.
Dear Respected Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
Excellent, I hadn’t realised it was going to be a private tour but really good mix of sightseeing and yummy food My only suggestion is if you’ve got several days to choose from avoid Saturday evening because the traffic was pretty awful
Dear Respected Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
Our guides were alot of fun and we had a great night with them eating an assortment of delicious local foods - buns, satay, spring chicken, rice etc. We also enjoyed the city sites by night including the temple all lit up with great views of KL and the palace and of course twin towers. Enjoyed learning about the culture and seeing the city by night x

If you stumble across this review then you are very lucky, because you too now have the opportunity to join this tour. We traveled to KL as a family of four and wanted to do something different, we wanted to see the city through different eyes, and not part of a big touristy group. This ticked ever box. We were picked up at our hotel at 7pm by Michelle and Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours - their local knowledge is incredible but spontaneous and so not scripted. They drove us to ’Queens’ restaurant which is over 60 years old and is basically a street food hub where locals eat and have done forever. The food is cooked on carts surrounding the venue. Michelle ordered everything and it was DELICIOUS! The Sate’s and Pork Buns were the best we have ever eaten. We would normally be to scared to eat in a place like this, but honestly we just trusted them and never once felt nervous about trying everything. After dinner Wesley drove us through the city in the comfy van, he and Michelle pointed things out - big and small, told us funny stories, and treated us like old friends. We hopped in and out, taking photos and asking questions which tbdu had answers for every time. For supper we went to a traditional Malaysian Indian 24 hour cafe called Pelita. We all thought there was no way we could possibly eat anything but once again Michelle ordered for us and we finished the night of with traditional cold milky tea sweet Indian rotis and something that I can only describe as one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten a roti tissue. Now we were bursting but very happily so!!! Michelle and Wes dropped us back to our hotel at about 10.30. We were do impressed with them both we asked about doing something else with them during the day. Michelle quickly arranged a day trip which I will cover in another review, yes it was also incredible so make sure you read it too. Thank you, thank you, thank you to you both, Golden Blossom Tours are lucky to have you as guides!!
Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
Michelle and Wesley took us competently through the night Kuala Lumpur. We learned a great deal about the country and people and, surprisingly, the king resigned that evening, including about Malaysian politics. The guided tour in the air-conditioned vehicle was interrupted by 2 eating stops where we were served simple but authentic food in local restaurants. The food was more than plentiful and very varied, the two guides entertained us very well and showed us some nice corners of their city. A great combination city tour and street food.
Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!
