En kort vandretur på cirka 1,5 time gennem den uberørte Cameron Falls Trail for at se vandfaldet ved dets kilde. En chance for at se forskellige fugle og fauna, inklusive alle de vidunderlige Chaga-svampe. Efter vandreturen vil gæsterne besøge en luksuriøs lodge ved Madeline Lake og nyde en fantastisk grill i en spektakulær omgivelser ved søen.

Hike good. Lunch not so much.
Our guide Mo was easy going and able to manage several languages as he informed us throughout our journey. The audio system wasn't very loud while on the bus and made it hard to hear some of what he had to say for the folks in the back of the bus. The hiking itself had some great views. The falls were impressive. Although we got a bit of rain, it didn't take away from the scenery. The downside of this excursion was the facility where we had lunch. The house was not very clean and was very unkempt in general. It looked "tired". Outside was an ode to projects left undone and there were garbage bags that wildlife had torn apart and strewn across the side yard. We were told to wander to the lakeside where we found equipment and docks that reflected the same lack of care as the chalet. It just looked like no one cared about the property. Not a great reflection for visitors. Sort of detracted from Mo's efforts and not a great impression for visitors to Canada.

The kitchen counter is done using faux stone and guests placing hot mugs and cups have created spots in the counter top and giving the impression of uncleaness which is entirely not true.
There is a teepee in the yard that is being repaired and the teepee poles are there since we will replace the teepee canvas once it is repaired. It is not an unfinished product.
The kayaks by the dock are normally on racks, however, Aurora Viewing guests take them down at night since some guests dont want the Kayak racks as background.
When the guide is making lunch, guests are free to stay at the lodge or view the sceneries from the dock side.

Must experience!
I went on a hike to Cameron Falls with a guide named Sai, and he was wonderful: warm, friendly, and very experienced. He treated all of us Yellowknife visitors like his own personal guests. I was nervous about coming here as a solo traveler, but he welcomed me and the rest of the group so kindly that I felt right at home. Beautiful scenery and good people. That's how I'll remember this trip.

Hike to Cameron Falls and Lunch. Had a great time!
Had a great tour! Leon did a great job of leading the hike and made sure everyone was safe and included. He had a lot of great information about the falls area and vegetation that we encountered. Lunch was ready when we got to the lodge and he and his team presented a good and filling lunch!

Great Hiking Experience with Leon
We had a great time hiking with Leon in Yellowknife. It was a pleasant and relaxing hike, and Leon was very knowledgeable and easygoing. He also prepared a delicious lunch for us, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend. Great value for experience.
Highly recommend this tour and Destination NWT in general. We enjoyed a relaxed, easy hike to Cameron Falls, followed by a delicious barbecue lunch at the company lodge and time to go kayaking in Madeline Lake. Shout out to our fantastic guide, Leon, who is friendly, knowledgeable and made the day a really enjoyable experience.
