The trip on Xochimilco has been a unique experience, a blend of traditional Mexican hospitality with the colorful and upbeat sights of the Xochimilco cannals. The soothing music of the mariachi, the sweet smell of food, traditional crafts and lot of fun. I believe it is a bargain and a must do activity if you visit CDMX.

We went on a Saturday around 3pm, the guides were punctual and very kind. During the tour we visited the axolotl sanctuary, it was an incredible experience and totally worth it. The pier is also very pretty and quiet. I completely recommend this tour!

Highly recommended! Both David and Alex are experts on this beautiful city... but above all, they are super friendly and make you feel "at home." Xochimilco is crowded and noisy, but it is part of the charm of navigating it. You can even buy local jewelry while you try some corn! A lovely Mexican experience. I want to return to CDMX :)

We had a great time on the trajinera. Garbi shared history about the area on the ride, and was very knowledgeable. Great tour for our multigenerational group of kids, grandparents, teens.

Alex our tour guide was AMAZING!! Pick up was prompt, his car was sparkling clean, we were offered cool water and Alex was extremely patient with our family. He opened up by asking us many questions and educating our family on México and its rich history. Alex took us to two of our bucket list places after our tour which for me personally was the highlight for our family. A surprise and delicious delight not expected. I loved the experience, it was a very cozy and safe trip in which they were telling us about the history and places to visit in Mexico. The trajinera trip was fun and different, I recommend not skipping the stop at the axolotl center. Our guide was always attentive to our needs and was very helpful with everything. I definitely recommend this tour for families or people who want to know a little more about the wonders of Mexico.

Alex was a great guide. Picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off where we asked to be dropped. Tour was very entertaining. We visited a habitat and kids were able to hold snakes, geckos and baby crocs. Snacks water and soda provided.

Friendly people on the boat. Food was cooked in another small boat. Flavourful. A lot of colourful boats on the water. Music often played by other boat.
