We booked a private tour of Xi’an and the Terracotta Warriors with Catherine Lu Tours. Our guide, Elena, spoke Spanish very well and was kind, attentive, and helpful at all times. Their interesting explanations enriched the visit a lot, and they made it much easier for us, since due to the large number of visitors there were, it could have been a horrible visit. The driver was punctual, the vehicle comfortable and the whole organization turned out perfect. They also got it right with the choice of restaurant. A 5 out of 5 experience that we totally recommend.
A very beautiful experience to visit the greatest sites of Xi'an in one day, with the comfort of a private driver. Thanks to Elodie, our guide, we enjoyed interesting commentary and anecdotes in French. While the month of August is not ideal for sightseeing, this day will remain one of the highlights of our trip to China. Thank you Elodie.
I can really highly recommend this trip. Our guide Julia was absolutely brilliant … so friendly and informative. Her English is excellent and she was able to answer all our questions (we had many!) She navigated us brilliantly through the terracotta warriors exhibit, and we enjoyed our time tremendously at all three sights. It was a fantastic day. I would not hesitate to book through this company.

Great guiding, highly informative. Our guide had lots of little tips to beat the heavy crowds (a must during the peak summer season!). Smooth transfers in a very comfortable private vehicle. We couldn’t have replicated the experience on our own!

My visit to Xi’an was an unforgettable experience. The Terracotta Army was absolutely breathtaking and one of the most impressive historical sites I have ever seen. Standing among thousands of life-sized warriors and horses made history feel truly alive. I also greatly enjoyed visiting the Bell Tower, one of the city’s most beautiful landmarks. Its traditional architecture and central location make it a wonderful place to admire Xi’an’s atmosphere and rich cultural heritage. Another highlight was walking along the Xi’an City Wall. The wall is remarkably well preserved, and exploring it offered beautiful views of both the historic and modern parts of the city. Xi’an is a fascinating destination, full of history, culture, and unforgettable sights. I highly recommend visiting the Terracotta Army, the Bell Tower, and the City Wall to anyone travelling to China.
Incredibly crowded, lots of pushing and shoving. It’s amazing but couldn’t wait to leave. Very pushy guide. Decided not to continue with the tour after the Pits

It is quite a long day when the temperature is high! However, Rosa was an excellent tour guide and was always one step ahead, carrying things for us to allow us to take photos and finding the best places for us to get unobstructed photos. Our driver was also great and always ready to open doors and hand out cold bottles of water. Our son actually struggled in the heat and we had to finish early but Rosa booked our tickets for the city walls to allow us visit them later when it was cooler. The lunch was also delicious.
