Super worth it. Even when it’s a bit pricey, I definitely recommend taking this tour instead of going directly with a bus. Yasushi not only was a super knowledgeable tour guide but also truly and genuinely funny. It really made a difference to learn about Japan and Shirakawa with him.

Yasushi was a great and funny guide! His explanations were given in the bus so we had time to explore ourselves. He gave us great places to visit. We loved it! It is good to do this tour in the morning with less crowds.

Great experience indeed! The length of the visit is the right so you get to see the village without getting tired (especially in the summertime). Our guide was Yasushi, whose super friendly and fun! Also he speaks very good English so taught all of us in the bus a lot about Shirakawa-go and the history of Japan.

We had a wonderful experience on the Shirakawa-go tour. The trip was very well organized, comfortable, and ran on time. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting information about the history and culture of the area. Shirakawa-go is absolutely beautiful, and we had enough free time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the local atmosphere. Yasushi is an amazing tour guide. He’s so knowledgeable, informative and humorous. He’s the best tour guide I have ever had. He gave us some recommendations. He also prepared a map for each tourist, marked down all places and main points that he suggested us to visit. That can safe us a lot of time.
