Generous tasting of four different wines accompanied with tasting menu. Knowledgeable host. Very enjoyable.
There were 4 wines that we tasted. They only left us 2 glasses per person. The amount of wine in each glass was low, less than half of the glass. Only one small bottle of water. The cutting board for 3 servings of cheese, one bruschetta, and 3 servings of salami per person. Then some cookies. Medium expectation, low reality. A rip-off for 35 usd per person
The owner was very knowledgeable The wine region in this part of Italy is quite unique We bought 2 bottles as we enjoyed them so much And the snacks paired with the wine was great
the most terrible experience...he did not communicate ahead that I was going to be alone. He also just sometimes explained very basic things everyone know about a wine and let me sit at a table alone for 1,5 hour or even less so less for what I paid. he changed the time from evening to mid day..and he didnt let me feel welcome at all. when I wasn't finished yet he started already with the next because he wanted to do it quick. it was a waste of time and money. I learned nothing, felt uncomfortable. you should communicate ahead everything. He was also late...it was terrible.
Excellent introduction to local wines by an experienced sommelier. Four wines were offered alongside local snacks. The wines were all of good quality and expertly described by the host. We would urge that you sample these offerings gs whilst in Lecce.
The tasting of wines from Apulia were impressive and the food pairings were more than expected. The host was lovely and had great English for us to understand. It was a great value and was also easy to find in old town of Lecce.
Highly recommend. I went with a group of 10 friends. Perfect location, easy to find, wonderful hosts and beautiful wine. Thank you for the lovliest experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
This was a fun tasting in the old town part of Lecce in a restaurant/wine bar. Our guide was the owner of the place and had very good knowledge of the wines that are made in Puglia. We tasted 4, a white, a rose, and the 2 reds. They were all great and the food pairings were good.
It was an informative and enjoyable experience. The wine and fooding pairings were very good. The host was knowledgeable and entertaining.
A perfect way to taste and celebrate the flavors of Lecce and Southern Italy!
