usoriginally we wanted to raft with level 4 (we already have various experiences) due to the many rain we were only offered level 3. OK- we understand, BUT: we were just stuffed to three little children without going after us! of course they took it slow. it was a long time pure!!!
The trip was great. The difficulty of the tour was perfect for us quasi-beginners. The three tour guides (two in the boat and one in the kayak next to it) were super nice and very helpful. You felt safe at all times! We would do the tour again anytime.
Excellent tour, safe, beautiful landscapes, the guide Steven is expert, pleasant, attentive, extensive explanations so that everything goes well
We had a fantastic morning rafting. Fabulous scenery - saw some monkeys, turtles and lots of birds. Steve and crew were great guides. So much fun on the rapids and also swam. Highly recommend.
It was very quiet in Jan 2023 with only our boat on the river. Great tour guide with additional safety kayak following which was nice. You also see amazing big birds on the way. Very professional overall and great fun.
I really appreciated Steve’s skills navigating the boat and his clear instructions. There was lots of birds to see and the clean water was refreshing. Alberto provided photos from his kayak and was a backup for safety if needed. We were a group of older travelers. This trip is fun for all ages and families. I wish I would have carried some cash with me to leave Steve a tip even if it got wet. He had to take the rafts further after we disembarked so you do not get to see him again after returning to the lockers to get your gear. Sorry Steve! I would have liked to leave something for you for your next personal adventure.
We had an amazing experience rafting. Our guide Steve was the best and made us feel very safe. It was so much fun! Thanks to Alberto for the great pictures as well. I highly recommend Hacienda Pozo Azul! 5* !!
Today rafting with the family including 2 children aged 10 and 12. What an amazing experience. Our guide Hanzel was very active, especially towards the children. We never felt insecure for a moment. Really enjoyed this experience. There are lockers and showers for when you come back. Recommended
Steve (our guide) was absolutely incredible. He made the experience incredibly enjoyable and fun, it was a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!!
We have done some rafting in several places around the world but this was the best. The briefing was extensive and the equipment fine. We were in rafts that carried 4 plus the steerer. However, the key aspect was that the rapids, class 2/3, came frequently and continuously throughout the trip. This contrasts with rafting elsewhere where the rapids have long gaps between. The stop halfway for a pineapple snack was much appreciated as were the showers and changing facilities on our return to Hacienda Pozo Azul. Can't fault it, should be done!
