Great tour, you will see whales
This was a great experience. You will see whales, but temper your expectations. We were lucky enough to have a whale breach right next to our boat, but that is a very rare occurrence. The staff running the tour are great and knowlegable and we learned a lot from our trip. It was also very romantic and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was not a large boat so it didn't feel over crowded.

Safe! Enthusiastic! Amazing!
While your balcony view might be great, it’s time to trade the binoculars for the real deal and get close enough to see a whale's "good side." This mighty crew is the gold standard—knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and packed with the kind of enthusiasm that makes every splash feel like a private show. It is the rare adventure that actually works for the whole squad; whether you’re bringing the kids, the extended family, or in-laws with limited mobility, everyone gets a front-row seat to the magic. Don't just watch from afar—get out there for an up-close experience that a balcony just can't track!

Excellent trip, many humpback whales, this tour was amazing and the best thing I did in Maui.
Amazing viewing of humpback whales. Mindy and James were so great, educating us about the humpback whales and making sure we could see. Great chance to take photos, so many whales to watch! Made my trip so great and worth it.

Awesome Excursion!
Oh my. Gosh! We just took this excursion and I had to make sure I wrote a review. These ladies were so knowledgeable and they were so much fun! We learned a lot and saw so many whales. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Can’t wait to come back with my husband next year. We will definitely book with this awesome crew and their pink boat!

WOW!
This was our second year going out with Maui Ocean Adventures. Last year was so fantastic we couldn’t wait to do it again. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT.. The boat is the perfect size. Not too big so you don’t have a crowd aboard. Small enough so you can be relatively close to the water and hear every word the crew has to say. The boat handling skill, the enthusiasm, and the intimate knowledge of the visiting whale population will make your trip memorable. Thank you Emma & Shannon. Rick and Kathy Rosenthal

What a great whale...
What a great whale watching experience. Hats off to the captain and guide, they did a fantastic job and it clearly showed they love their job and wanted everyone on board to have a great time. I will definitely book again with Maui Ocean Adventures the next vacation I take to Maui.
