Din tur er kun din tur! Ingen blandede grupper! Du får din egen dedikerede chauffør / guide og 'Memory Creator' for hele din tur. Nyd en ~ 8 - timers privat tur, der fanger det bedste af Wellington - Oriental Bay, Mt Victoria, Weta Cave, Massey, Wahine og Ataturk mindesmærker, naturskønne kørsel af østlige og sydlige bugter, Wellington Wind Turbine i Brooklyn, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park / Grave of Unknown Soldier, Wellington kabelbil, parlamentsbygninger og Old St Pauls Cathedral. Vi går en kort gåtur rundt på parlamentets område, hvor din guide vil pege på den ikoniske 'Beehive', Houses of Parliament og den parlamentariske biblioteksbygning.
Bygget mellem 1865 og 1866 Old St Pauls Cathedral er et af de bedste eksempler på gotisk revival arkitektur i verden. Katedralen er særligt rørende for amerikanske besøgende. En stor kontingent af American Marine Corp var baseret i og omkring Wellington i 1942, og mange marinesoldater deltog i søndagstjenester. Den amerikanske Marine Corp flag og den amerikanske nationale flag af den tid med 48 stjerner hænge stolt inde i katedralen. Her har vi en guidet tur med en Heritage NZ-medarbejder, der vil give en omfattende oversigt over katedralens historie.
Tag en tur på Wellingtons mangeårige, ikoniske turistattraktion - Wellington-svævebanen. Din guide tager dig til indgangsstedet og møder dig derefter på din endelige destination - Kelburn.
Vi går en tur gennem den storslåede Lady Norwood Rose Garden, der ligger i Wellington Botanical Gardens. Når roserne ikke blomstrer, kan der tages en kort tur i haven.
Sæt dit jeg i det ikoniske Well_ington skilt, gå langs havnen for storby og havn naturskønne fotomuligheder og se statuen af Kupe, der viser den legendariske polynesiske opdagelsesrejsende med sin kone, Hine Te Apārangi, og hans tohunga (præst), Pekahourangi.
Tag en naturskøn køretur langs Oriental Bay afsluttende de smalle veje i Wellington til Wellington mest populære udkigspunkt. Her tager vi en majestætisk udsigt over byen og havnen.

Vi besøger adskillige mindesmærker ved Seatoun og Breaker Bay for 51 mennesker, der på tragisk vis mistede livet den 10. april 1968 efter Inter Island Ferry Wahines forlis. Faktisk skulle yderligere 2 mennesker dø efter tragedien som følge af kvæstelser pådraget den skæbnesvangre dag.
Vi besøger Mustafa Kemal Atatürk-mindesmærket, den første præsident for Republikken Tyrkiet over Breaker Bay. Mindesmærket ser ud over Cookstrædet, og stedet blev valgt for dets bemærkelsesværdige lighed med landskabet på Gallipoli-halvøen I Tyrkiet. Mindesmærket er særligt gribende for australske, newzealandske og tyrkiske besøgende, der mindes ANZAC Gallipoli-kampagnen under 1. Verdenskrig.

This tour was an incredible journey trough Middle Earth. Our guide Dean was really nice during the day and gave so much details and anecdotes. Little Finn will remember this awsome member of our felleowship of the day. One of the best days of our trip in New Zeland!

A fantastic way to spend the day in Wellington! We learned so much, saw so much and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Tom Collier, was quite knowledgeable and interspersed anecdotes that kept things light and lively. We traversed the city and by the end of the tour felt like we had really seen Wellington.

Wonderful LOTR tour around Wellington! My son and I had a great time with Dave. He took us to all the filming locations and more! He also taught us about New Zealand’s rich history and culture. A great lunch was included along with all the pics in a drop box at the end of the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Our guide Dave met us promptly at the agreed time and it was the beginning of an awesome day together. He listened to what we wanted to see, and asked what we had seen already, and then took us on an awesome tour of Wellington and surrounding areas. We really appreciated getting to see outside of the Central Business District and the fact that he took pictures that he promptly sent to us after the tour. Dave has a wealth of local knowledge and was super easy to spend time with. It felt more like a friend showing you his city and a paid tour. Dave also remembered that we needed to buy hats to protect ourselves from the strong sun and neatly fit in a stop at a local store (instead of an overpriced tourist shop) to buy some hats! This tour was the highlight of our visit to Wellington! Thank you Dave for being sucha great guide.
