Oplev Wellington fra et andet perspektiv på en 90 minutters havnecruise om bord på Ika Rere, den sydlige halvkugles første fuldt elektriske passagerfærge. Denne afslappede krydstogt udforsker Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington Harbour med kommentarer, der dækker byens maritime historie, havnegeologi og centrale vartegn. The harbour cruise was a relaxing and lovely way to orient ourselves to the city and its surrounds. The commentary was informative, and punctuated the cruise at apt intervals, the crew members were friendly, making an effort to engage with the passengers. Being able to travel on the upper deck or in the warmer, enclosed cabin gave good options, especially when sighting the local wildlife. Highly recommended!
The service provided, the commentary, the historical aspect of the bird sanctuary the whole experience was something that I willingly promote. Scenery is fantastic. Well done to all involved.

We needed something to do for our last day in Wellington with weather changing badly. This turned out to be the perfect to ur. The skipper and the crew were fantastic. Knowledgeable and great friendly team.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday afternoon cruise around the harbour. Always fun seeing a harbour city from the water. The fully electric ferry is wonderfully quiet, making it easy to hear the commentary.

We were lucky to have a sunny, low-wind day. Hearing about the history of the harbor, how the earthquakes changed and reshaped the city was fascinating. The scenery was beautiful. But don’t forget sunscreen, even for late afternoon!
