Not a memorable experience, except in a bad way. The owner had an intern working for her and every direction to the intern was demeaning to the intern.. The owner asked at the beginning if it was okay for her to provide direction to the intern and we all sat silent because we had no idea what was going to happen.
Thank you for the review. The assistant received instructions before the class. However, as she was there for the first time, I had to provide her with more directions during the class. I did inform the guests that she was on her test day: I did not want you to feel uneasy about the fact that one staff member is not experienced. I specifically chose a small size class to introduce her to the job. There is no other way we can train support staff other than during the workshop. I am really surprised that out of the whole experience, this was the only thing you remembered. Especially that all other guests ranked us 5 stars.
Learned some tips, had fun, would recommend.
Thank you
My wife and I participated in the pierogi and more cooking class yesterday, it was a blast. Maria did a wonderful job, and taught us how to make beautiful pierogi. We met two very nice families, and ate our fill. This is a fun, great activity when visiting Warsaw.
Thank you
Ben was great enjoyed the experience of making Pierogis
Thank you
The experience was great, Kaj made it enjoyable and funny throughout. I would definitely highly recommend if you like getting stuck in! The portion of food at the end also definitely makes it worth it. Nice little touch at the end with some polish liquor tasting!
Thank you
Was a great experience! Learned something new. Kaj was a great teacher
Thank you!
This was really fun! Met some other travelers and enjoyed our time learning to make perogis! They were great and even better with the carmelaized onions
Thank you!
I enjoyed the Pierogi making class. I liked that they had a vegan option for the filling since I can’t have milk products.
Thank you!
Lovely experience making local food, with local history and info shared. Enjoyed meeting others taking part, host was friendly and informative as well as getting to enjoy eating delicious food at the end! Would absolutely book again. Thank you 🥟🤍
Thank you!
Our young host was energetic, knowledgable and a great communicator! The staff was prepared, food was fresh and was presented well. We enjoyed tasting our creations and meeting other guests. Sadly, there was a group with 2 young guests who were critical from the moment they arrived. Nothing was ‘good enough’ for them. From seating arrangements (that had been well thought out by staff for individual group photographers), to the equipment provided, and the food arrangements. If you’ve never attended a cooking class - the typical model is that different groups make different versions of the recipe- and the food is then shared across the broader group of attendees. If you’ve never attended are uncomfortable with strangers making your food (like a restaurant or at a friends home) you might want to pass on a cooking class. These 2 young women continued complaining and disrupting and insulting the other guests. The leader of the pack refused to join the dinner, blamed the other guests and convincer her group of coworkers to leave. Under the circumstances, the staff handled it as gracefully as possible. The remaining guests enjoyed the wonderful pirogies, meeting others from around the world and sharing travel stories!!
Thank you! We really appreciate your took time to write this and that you appreciated our continuous efforts to limit the negative effect of this situation on other guests.
