Wilson was a great guide! My sister and I took his tour on our second day and it was a great decision. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Mayans and how they influenced current day Guatemala. We had a great walk full of history, context, and good conversation.
Wilson was one of the kindest souls I've ever met. It was my first time visiting Guatemala since my birth and adoption in Guatemala city. He made the experience the greatest. He's extremely knowledgeable, well spoken, understanding, and kind. Definitely the best part of my two week trip. I'll never forget it.
Excellent. Energetic. Informative. Loves what he does. Wilson is seemingly the owner and operator of the company that does this tour...perhaps a one man show, he does it all. no point in repeating what all the others have said...its true. hes great, would def recommend. is well worth the money. you can always roam around town and try to figure out what you are looking at...or you can pay a guide who is knowledgeable, not only about the things that are shown, but the details "behind the scene". a plus for Wilson he was very accommodating and flexible: we booked a tuk tuk to the top at the Cross and walked down (saved my knees and tired body).
If you're looking for an authentic experience with someone who truly cares about sharing and passing on their culture, don't hesitate!
Wilson was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed learning more about the Maya culture. He even took me to the convent to explore, so be sure to have cash.

This experience allows you to see the native Mayan Interpretation of Guatemalan history. His understanding and connection to Mayan customs , culture , and spirituality is unmatched. We had an incredible experience on the Mayan Cultural tour. Wilson was knowledgeable, respectful, and personable. We did this tour at the beginning of our Guatemala trip and I would recommend it to everyone visiting the country. The tour ranged from discussions on the churches, plants, ceremonies, textiles… everything you could ever want to know. A great experience all around. It was such a treat spending the afternoon with Wilson, learning about Mayan culture.
The tour was phenomenal! Wilson shared much about Mayan culture and gave us a glimpse and perspective into the colonial history of Antigua and acts of Mayan resistance that we would have never gotten to know about otherwise.
