I denne vandretur vil du opdage Mexico Citys historiske centrum. Vores tur begynder foran Metropolitan Cathedral på Zócalo-pladsen, kernen i politik, sociale bevægelser, religion, traditioner og festligheder. Vi vil gå gennem de smukke bygninger på hovedtorvet, indtil vi befinder os foran Templo Mayor, hvor vi vil lære om det mexicanske folks aztekiske arv. Vi fortsætter til National Office of Public Education kendt for sin smukke koloniale arkitektur og vægmalerier fra Diego Rivera. Blandt travle gader og kommercielle områder finder vi Nationalmuseet for kunst, et symbol på det 20. århundredes udvikling og modernitet. Endelig ankommer vi til det smukke kunstpalads, byens ikon på grund af dets imponerende design og art deco-påvirkning. Alejandro was knowledgable, friendly, funny and made our tour a great time. Would highly recommend him to everyone. He even gave us great local restaurant recommendations.
We had a great tour with Emilio who is an archeologist working at the Templo Mayor. It seems like many of Estacion Mexico's tour guides have similarly deep subject matter expertise. Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful, comprehensive and informative tour. We saw and learned a lot. Javier was so passionate about his city that it made the experience extra special. Highly recommend! We did this tour on our first day in Mexico City and I think that was a great decision as it gave us an understanding of the place, just as our time here begins.
Our guide, Javier V. was the best tour guide we have met during our month long trip in Mexico. He spoke perfect English and was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we have learnt so much about Mexico's incredible history, culture and the city's architecture. He was exceptionally good with our children too, I had never seen them so captivated and interested. I am very grateful for the experience!
The experience with Alejandro was great
We did a wonderful route through the history of Mexico City. Karina was a wonderful guide, she expressed herself very well, she was happy to answer our questions, and she was very kind. It is a great experience that is totally recommended.
Estrella was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable funny and kept us entertained throughout the walking tour.
The tour was ok, it felt rush by the guide, like she was just going with the motions of repeating the stats and history of Mexico, the plazas, monuments, etc. I was not thrilled when after the tour, I thanked her and gave her her tip, as it's a free walking tour. She proceeded to tell me how much she has to payout to her employer, and asked me for more. It was not in good taste, as I felt the tip was appropriate for the 1.5 hour walking tour.
