We went on a full day tour on a Mercedes-Benz Vito which was very comfortable. Ismael was superb. He is very knowledgeable and polite. No request seemed too much, and he helped to book a very nice restaurant for lunch. His smooth driving helped with the twisting and turning up and down the hills. Overall we enjoyed the day very much.

The tour was OK and visited the two main attractions in Evora however the tour was priced from Lisbon and when we informed the tour operator that we were staying in Evora they did not make any accommodation for the cost of the tour. It cost us an inordinate amount for 4 hours of contact time with our tour guide.

As stated on our Viator listing and on our website, our private tours are primarily operated from Lisbon, which is where our company is based. The total duration of each tour reflects the full experience, including transportation time to and from the destination, and in this case, approximately 3 hours of transit time, and the remaining time dedicated to visiting the highlights of Évora. When you informed us ahead of time that you would be staying in Évora rather than Lisbon, we did everything we could to accommodate this change without applying any additional charges, even though this meant sending one of our chauffeurs and vehicles on a dedicated 1.5-hour trip from Lisbon to Évora to meet you. In similar cases, this would usually involve a surcharge to cover the extra travel, but we made the decision to honor the original cost as a gesture of goodwill. The tour you received was led by one of our most experienced private chauffeurs and ran smoothly from 09:00 to 13:00, with personalized attention throughout and convenient pick-up and drop-off at your hotel in Évora. We are glad you had the chance to visit the city’s main attractions, and we hope the insights and comfort of the experience added value to your time in Portugal.
