A wonderful boat ride with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The swimming break from the boat was also great, and the cave was impressive. A successful afternoon
The boat was fine, not overcrowded. The guy piloting the boat was pleasant but silent. No explanations or history given. The music was very loud and not for me but others loved it. The cave was stunning as was the little beach at Sazan island. Things went wrong after that. The ‘beautiful’ beach was accessed by a route march past major building works and over a large, muddy trench followed by walking half a mile along a dirty beach to what was , effectively, a building site with sun beds. Clearly the company have bought it with a view to running the whole show but this was not a beautiful beach with crystal clear water. It was sited close to a huge boatyard with extensive works going on. I felt sorry for the staff who worked very hard to sell the experience but we felt as if we’d been kidnapped. We had to wait here till the boat returned with the next group of victims. An experience but not a good one.
September tourism now declining, I enjoyed the food, the coves, the people, most know Italian whether they have relatives or have worked, In the tourist area the streets are beautiful. With two long tunnels positioned, to reach Saranda with villages inside white after the tunnels vil mare is even more beautiful The only thing where the cost was exaggerated was the rent of the car I would not recommend local agencies ... and ... careful driving the Albanians
The boat trip was as advertised and was a great half day. The cave is very picturesque, unfortunately government rules dont allow you to swim in there. We made a couple of stops one at a beautiful island and beach for 30 minutes, and another for approx 2 hours 30 which allowed plenty of time to get lunch at a restaurant / sunbathe / swim in the sea and relax
Captain Benjamin was a perfect guide and gave us a day we won’t soon forget! We boated all over the area and explored sea caves and hidden beaches.
Very good roadtrip in a fast boat, music, and water bottle or beer/soda provided. Stop at the beach with quite long restaurant (2h30) so it is to be expected that you will eat here.
The boat trip itself was very nice. We were supposed to go swimming in a cave, but once in the cave it turned out you weren't allowed to swim there. Floated in that cave for 20 minutes. Then sailed to an island, dropped there. The description said to go snorkeling but there were no masks, they were apparently in another boat. With pain and effort they found 1 more child model mask in the boat that did not fit. The part where you were allowed to swim was the size of a paddling pool. Well then 2 hours is a very long time. It doesn't match the description at all. A pirate story would be told but that story is ragged in one sentence.
the best experience ever! great guides and professional staff! must try ifnu are in vlore ! the best choice in this city !
Nice, calm and experienced captain, small boats, not too crowded and some Music. The stay on the beach was nice, however you almost have to buy a bed since there is not much place to just place your tower somewhere.
Super funny and friendly boat drivers Miguel and Endri. Amazing views, good guiding in english language. I would Recommend this 100% for someone who likes a bit of extreme! Hope to come back again to Vlore and repeat this trip. 😎
