During the pandemic I have experienced seven virtual food tours, most of them excellent, but our class with Chef Eduardo topped them all. Yesterday we tuned in on eight screens from locations across Western Canada to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. She had selected a menu of chicken mole and a mezcal cocktail from an interesting list provided. It was a great choice! Eduardo is so engaging; funny, energetic, and well-informed. As a trained chef, he provided tips that were helpful to even the most seasoned cooks among us. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of left-over mole sauce. Eduardo gave us intriguing ideas on how to use the mole in other dishes, which I can't wait to try. I suspect we'll be recreating the berry cocktail when we do. Virtual cooking classes have been a fantastic way to bring everyone together during the pandemic. We cook together, then we eat together virtually. I suspect we'll continue that practice once COVID-19 is in our rearview mirror --- and we'll certainly take another class with Eduardo when we get to Mexico City in person.
Thank you for your kind words. In Mexican Food Tours we work hard and commit to high standards. We agree, Eduardo is an outstanding chef and he does his work with passion. We are happy to know you have enjoyed your Virtual Mexican Cooking Party and look forward to seeing you in other of our classes either virtual or here in Mexico City. Once again, thank you for joining us.
