Omkring 10 minutters kørsel fra vores hotel ligger Berat-slottet, også kaldet Berat-citadellet og borgkvarteret, som er en fæstning med udsigt over byen Berat, Albanien. Det rummer over 2.400 års historie og indeholder mange byzantinske kirker i området og osmanniske moskeer. Vinsmagning er dagens højdepunkt. I recently attended a wine tasting and lunch activity at Cobo's picturesque winery, and it was an exceptional experience. The setting was stunning, with rows of grapevines stretching out under a clear blue sky. The tasting session was informative, guided by a knowledgeable sommelier who introduced us to a variety of wines, explaining their unique characteristics and the winemaking process. Each wine was paired with a small bite, enhancing the flavors and providing a delightful culinary journey. Following the tasting, we enjoyed a delicious lunch made from locally sourced ingredients, perfectly complementing the wines we had sampled. The atmosphere was relaxed and convivial, making it a memorable day of fine wine, great food, and excellent company. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a bit of luxury and learn more about wine.
We booked this activity because we have tried other activity from Albania Rafting Group and we liked a lot.And as always, it left us speechless. The hospitality and the staff are the main things that this company has to make everything go perfectly. The Çobo wine cellar was fantastic. .The wines were a miracle that must be tried. I suggest you all to try it as I have suggested to my family and friends to try not only this, but also other activities that Albania Rafting Group has. Good organization with Albani Rafting Group. I really enjoyed with my wife on this trip. The wines and foods are amazing. I will come again to this trip next year.
They messaged me on WhatsApp the day before my scheduled tour saying the group was too big and there was not room for me. Even though I had booked 3 weeks before! (And they were still taking new bookings via TripAdvisor / Viator…) I had to scramble at the last minute to find a different tour.

This tour was absolutely a must do in Berat. Our guide, Toni, was incredibly knowledgeable in touring the castle with us. The winery was such a cool experience and the staff are amazing. And the traditional meal was one of the best we had in Albania. Thank you Alma for organizing this!
