Vinsmagning Frokost i Spello withTruffle Tasting

Great experience, would recommend to anyone in the Spello area. Very friendly and food delicious and wine same.

We had a terrific wine tasting lunch. Hosted by a brother-sister duo, we were treated to fabulous wines, delicious olive oil, and a terrific lunch. All in a beautiful cafe. Our hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered several bottles to be shipped home and they arrived with ease.

This is serious wine tasting for enthusiasts who really want to learn more about local wines and their production in Tuscany and Umbria from true experts. The food parings are excellent quality and reasonable portions for a lunch that doesn't leave you ready only for napping. The brother and sister team are not only knowledgeable but also engagingly pleasant, and they communicate their passion for their family occupation very, very well even in English. The price of the experience indicates the level of interest aimed at and the quality of the wines; this is not for people who think $30 is too much to pay for a bottle of wine.

Wines were delicious as was the food and service. I noticed that they served a wider variety of wines to some tables and less to others.

This wine and trufle tasting was one of the highlights of our trip to Spello! I didn't expect to taste so many fantastic wines or to enjoy the food so much. Everyone was so friendly and we felt very welcome from the moment the tasting started. We sent home olive oil and wine and we can't wait to enjoy it again when we return. A really fun way to spend a few hours in this gorgeous town.

Luca and Roberta were fabulous, entertaining and interesting. The wines, food and olive oil were so good we have ordered some to be shipped home. It was a great 2 1/2 hours and we found the wine and food combination was exceptional. Loved the pasta and truffles with the olive oil.
