Vindmølle, mejeriprodukter og elektrisk cykeltur på landet
Beskrivelse
Lille gruppe tur - Max 10 deltagere En kort færge tur og en nem cykel gennem den nordlige del af byen, og vi vil nå Waterlands, landskabet lige uden for Amsterdam. Snart er det køer og landmænds skilte, der tilbyder frisk lavet is eller mælk. Vi vil diskutere vand- og jordforvaltning, se en gammeldags vindmølle, forklare, hvorfor hollænderne er så cykelløse, og hvordan de brugte disse stier under Anden Verdenskrig i søgen efter de varer, de havde brug for at overleve. Der vil være masser af fotomuligheder undervejs, da vi krydser gennem et par landsbyer og stopper for at tage det hele ind. Fordi Holland er relativt fladt, behøver man ikke være i top form for at deltage, og den elektriske cykel gør det til en brise. Vi vil tilbringe det meste af vores tid uden for byen for en afslappet cykel rejse.

For at komme ud af byen tager vi en færge, der ligger på bagsiden af Amsterdams hovedbanegård
En af de ni tilbageværende vindmøller i Amsterdam, vi vil se på denne, mens vi tager nordpå ud af byen.
På denne udflugt besøger vi et par landsbyer mod nord og tager på et afslappende krydstogt gennem landmændenes marker.
En anden dejlig landsby har en fin kirke i centrum af byen. Af og til holder vi en kort pause, to klatrer op i kirken og nyder udsigten over omgivelserne (afhængigt af tilgængelighed).
Vores sidste landsby vil give os en smuk udsigt over havnen, inden vi vender tilbage til Amsterdam Nord.
Vi kommer tilbage til Amsterdam og stopper for at se et tidligere skibsværft med en vigtig historie. I alt cykler vi i cirka 90 minutter - 2 timer og tilbagelægger cirka 15 km

Those Amsterdames country side bicycle tour was an excellent afternoon. Our guide Kevin was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. He truly seemed to enjoy spending a couple hours with us in the tour. It was fun to get out of the hustle of the city and see some nearby villages..best part is stopping for an ice cream!! The e-bikes are easy to ride and the pace was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and book the longer tour with this fine company.

We were nervous to try biking, especially out of the city center, but this quickly became our favorite tour of the trip! The E-Bikes were so fun and made it so effortless. We loved the loop through the country side and it was so relaxing and memorable. Jasper was the best guide. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

It was a great opportunity to get out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, and see how others live in the country! The worst area was the intersection before and after the ferry! The best was when we stopped and got information about the area we were at! Best way to take a break from big city!

Beautiful country side just a few minutes outside of Amsterdam Centre! Cruised along the waters & dams & saw 3 wondrous windmills.
