Firstly let's start with Mr. Dong, he was extremely helpful in the beginning, very attentive and fast to respond. Once I paid however that all changed, he is a flat out liar. We booked and paid for a motorcycle tour and a Ha Long boat trip. What we booked and what we got are totally different, we got a subpar ship without any consultation and did not know until we got on a different boat so not a lot of options at that point. His justification was 'we got an upgraded room', an upgraded room on a downgraded boat is still a down grade. I raised this issue with Mr. Dong and we met before the motorbike ride and he assured me that everything else would be exactly as we booked it, so with this information in mind we decided to continue with our planner motorbike tour. When we got to our first location I look at the map and asked our guide why we were so far away from where we were meant to be on the itinerary, at this point he shared a different itinerary with me. Again I contact Mr. Dong and asked why the itinerary was totally different to the literary we book, his response 'its an upgraded itinerary'. Again this was not discussed with us and it was a massive downgrade, we stayed in crappy homestays that were moldy and gross. We asked about things on the new itinerary with our guide who told us 'I don't know where that is' and 'I don't know why that's in the itinerary'. He also took us to random things with no explanation and no information on what it was and what we were looking at. We had to seek a refund from Tripaneer (which we got) and Mr. Dong was a complete d**k about it despite acknowledging they made several mistakes. I would not recommend anything from this company. The bikes were absolutely rubbish, they were in crappy condition and not at all suited for 2 riders. Our guide barely spoke to us, we tried multiple times to engage with him but gave up by the end of the trip. The ride days were long because our tour guide sat at about 30km/h average speed which would have been great if we were seeing interesting things and stopping and discussing things but we weren't, we were on highways for a lot of it so it was slow and boring. Minimal offroading was done and most of what was promised in the itinerary was never delivered, the justification was 'it wasn't suited for a rider with a passenger' if thats the case don't offer the tour for a pillion. The countryside is beautiful and the people are so friendly in Vietnam so I would absolutely recommend people do a tour in Vietnam, just not with these liars. Mr. Dong started name calling and saying I was cold etc and that's why the guide didn't talk to us so I suspect he will respond to this with the same game to blame me for his failings as a tour operator. I have no idea how he has so many positive reviews, I assume they are paid for. I will never travel with this company again.

Brilliant 6 days, the tours are road based with a little bit of riding on un paved roads, Ducky was our guide, ex-road racer which suited us as we like to push on. Was amazing to see all the villagers, people waving, nothing like miserable old England where everyone thinks your doing something illegal. Homesteads were great, food nothing to say as always the best. Get it booked and take your holiday to +10.

Riding with Insochina motorbike tour was a great experience. This was my first time on a motorbike tour and my first time in Vietnam. Our guide Tony was excellent.

Ideal ways to get out n about with family or mates! Bikes were superb accommodation outstanding and meals were 1st rate.The guides are skilled funny and knowledgeable and happy to take you up to your ability or let you cruise! 10/10 customers service

I Was not sure what to expect when we booked this tour, i wanted something for my son and I to experience together. Mission accomplished! Pleased to say, it was far and away better than all expectations! From fabulous country side to spectacular home stay visits(excellent accommodation) to a absolutely fantastic guide with a cheeky sense of humour it is a fabulous way to see some of Vietnams beauty and get to ride a off road bike in some picturesque and wonderful locations that will challenge you but not break you!!! I would 100% recommend.

I met Mr. Dong on the slow boat from Thailand to Laos around mid October of this year. He told me his company had a motorbike tour in Vietnam that would change my life. I didn’t have much experience with bikes so I dismissed it at the time, but he had piqued my curiosity. I found myself in Hanoi a few weeks later and decided to send him a message on WhatsApp. We agreed on the five day tour out to Sa Pa and back, and I have to say, it was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. It was exhilarating, terrifying, exhausting, and just so much damn fun. I spent three months in Asia, and this was the top. What a special experience. I loved it. Shout out to Hoàng aka Zoom for an incredible trip. I think about it every day. I miss Vietnam dearly. I will be back.

Undoubtedly, this has been a life experience. Indochina tour (Mr.Dong) and Duck (the tour guide) were exceptional. Duck became a friend during our journey. He accommodated the ride based on my expectations and what I wanted to learn from the tour. He explained to me about Vietnam's history as well as local customs and food. His company and guidance were essential in making the time and experience unique. The whole tour, food and stays were taken care of, so I only focused on driving and getting the Vietnamese experience. The places we visited, the landscapes and the towns make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you are on a group or solo trip and want the genuine Vietnamese experience, you should get this tour.

This is a phenomenal trip. A way to go off the beaten tourist track and as the real Vietnam. You stay in fantastic local homestays and see the most incredible parts of the country away from the usual tourist route. The motorbikes are fantastic and most importantly Michael is an absolute star. An incredibly good guy and constantly asking how it can be improved / tailed to your interests!
