This tour is a must! It felt like exploring Barcelona with a friend who lives there. It was a beautiful walk through areas of the old town that we likely would never have stumbled across on our own. We tried the best versions of local foods and heard about the history behind them. We would highly recommend to any of our friends traveling to Barcelona.
If you’re visiting Barcelona, this walking tour is an absolute must. It was the perfect balance of history, culture, and food—all thoughtfully guided by Jo, who was warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. We explored hidden corners of the city, sampled authentic Catalan dishes, and gained a deeper understanding of local traditions. The wine tasting at the end was the perfect way to wrap up the experience. Highly recommended!
Knowledgeable local guide who picked the perfect places to give a wide variety of local tastes and flavors. Was lucky enough to be the only two people on the tour. Could NOT have asked for anything better!

This food and wine experience was truly exceptional. Not only were the bespoke and truly local gems the best in Barcelona, but the rich history and expert insights from our guide Anie made it a night will not soon forget. If you have an opportunity when visiting this wonderful City, this is one tour you don’t want to miss. I can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful time exploring and eating tapas with Anie from Vidavivida. And we learned quite a few about history, culture and lifestyle of Barcelona. It was definitely worth the journey!
I can’t begin to say how much we loved this tour with Anna! We haven’t stopped talking about it and just recommended this to 2 friends since. First off Anna is so fun and knowable about all the things in the city that you’d want to know. Taking us to the most amazing places that are so unforgettable. So much history at 4 cats and the other stops are filled with the delicacies of Spanish food and wines/cocktails. We got to taste and learn all about Spain’s wines at the last stop. Walking thru the gothic quarter was so interning and beautiful! I would have never known there was so many little nooks and alleyways to discover! Thank you! I would do this again! Something I’ll keep in my memories 🫶
Wonderful evening. Highly recommend. Maria, our guide, was charming, energetic, knowledgeable, & passionate about Barcelona & Spanish history & culture. We went to 3 restaurants and ate and drank traditional Barcelona food & drink. We tried things we would never had tried on our own. We closed the evening at a wonderful wine bar with fabulous local cavas, whites, & reds. It was a great way to start our trip.
Our favorite thing we did in Barcelona! I have done this tour twice now. So much history along with yummy food and drinks!
