Our guide, Gustavo was very knowledgeable and interesting. The tour was a very worthwhile experience.
Gustavo was at our hotel a few minutes early, so we were already on our way by 2 pm. It was a great experience for our first visit to Versailles. Gustavo shared a lot of history about Versailles, including information about the royal families of France in relation to Versailles and history of Versailles itself - from the beginning to now. He pointed out the reservoir for the water that feeds the fountains and explained a little about how they work. After our tour of Versailles, we spent time in the gardens and were able to admire the fountains - which were running! We didn’t stay as long as we might have if it was warmer and not raining.
Our guided tour of Versailles was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Gustavo was an exceptional guide—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history. He didn’t just recite facts; he brought the stories, people, and events of Versailles to life in a way that made the experience unforgettable. We walked away with a much deeper understanding of the palace, its history, and the lives that unfolded there. Gustavo’s storytelling made everything feel vivid and meaningful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles, and especially recommend Gustavo as your guide. An outstanding experience from start to finish.
Our guide Gustavo was incredibly knowledgeable about Versailles and the political details surrounding the period it encompassed in history. He was engaging and helpful with our questions and speaks English well.He also recommended an excellent brasserie for dinner after the tour! Our car was a Mercedes black sprinter(?) van I think /very nice and comfortable. Lovely experience and we recommend highly.

Gustavo handled a busy summer morning with real skill. No hassle for us, he had the timing down perfectly so the day kept its smoothness. His guide's knowledge was broad and he answered specifics about art techniques and politics with ease. The van was very comfortable, whisper quiet on the highway.

Traveling with two kids and my mother, I expected stress, but there was no hassle at all. Gustavo coordinated everything with impressive smoothness and adjusted the pace when the kids got tired. His guide's knowledge brought little details to life, from ceiling paintings to garden fountains. The van ride was very comfortable, soft suspension and bottled water ready
We had a super relaxed morning with Jose, truly no hassle. Pickups were on time, tickets handled, and the smoothness of the route kept us ahead of the crowds. He answered every question and added context we never would have known. The van had great legroom and strong air conditioning, which mattered on a hot day.
