Comfortable transportation to lagoon. Boat was nice that we went out on the lagoon except the ladder that we used to climb from the boat to the lagoon was an old wooden one that had at least I nail head sticking out. Granted I am 76 years old and there were plenty of strong young men helping people. The steps had no treads and were slippery even with good water shoes on. One of my feet slipped off and I fell around hitting either the ladder or the boat. They were still trying to hold on to me. I told them I was a good swimmer earlier. My other foot was caught in the ladder, I freed it and pushed against the boat and fell back onto the water. I enjoyed the rest of the tour. The next morning I woke up with major bruising on my right thigh and arms and leg. I know I signed a liability release but feel like if the ladder was safer with treads and good handles to hold onto, this would not have happened.
Pickup time was scheduled at 5p. The time of 5p is even in the title of the activity. No one showed. Driver texted me at 6:06p to confirm pickup. Ummm, what?! We already waited an hour outside our hotel and finally gave up and went to dinner. I requested a refund and they authorized a PARTIAL refund, like it was MY fault that they didn’t communicate or show up on time!

As previously explained, the standard pickup time for this activity is usually around 5:00 PM, particularly for guests staying farther from the location. However, in your case, your hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the activity, and a 5:00 PM pickup would have resulted in you arriving much earlier than necessary and waiting several hours before the tour began. We do acknowledge that we should have communicated the adjusted pickup time more clearly in advance, and we take full responsibility for that lack of communication. The driver was already dispatched and on the way at the time of the scheduled service, which is why a partial refund was applied rather than a full refund, as operational costs had already been incurred. Please understand that pickup times can vary depending on the guest’s location and the time of year, as sunset times change and affect the tour schedule. We truly regret the misunderstanding and the frustration it caused, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our communication going forward.
When you arrive you are greeted and welcomed to have a drink while you wait for your tour. The tour guides are informative and fun, and the biolum is amazing.

It was very surprising to see how bright the bacteria glowed when you move in the water, Lamar’s knowledge of the best time to go and caution of the jelly fish and treatment if we touched one was excellent

Regarding the jellyfish, those found in the lagoon are moon jellyfish. They are not dangerous and may only cause a mild itch, which can be easily treated with vinegar. Great experience with a great crew. Transportation was on time and the captain tried hard to find the biggest blue spots for us to take video. My wife and I did the private one, so it was just us 2. Highly recommended!

We REALLY enjoyed this tour and this operator. Lamar was very cool and helped our family arrange last minute transportation and tickets to the lagoon the same day we flew in. The lagoon itself was shallow in the area we went and you could DEFINITELY see it light up the night! I was a little nervous to get in the water in the dark but it was totally worth it-- even the kids enjoyed it. Lamar was an excellent host and very professional. Transportation to the lagoon was clean and safe. He even pointed out some areas of interest along the way. Highly recommend you check out this tour and operator when in Jamaica! #OneLove.

Ndale was fabulous and the lagoon was beautiful. It was incredible to watch the water glow and lifting your arm out the water it looked like you had blue stars dropping off your arm. We felt like kids!
