If you're looking for something that's different from the usual sightseeing in Tokyo, put SumoLand on your list! We had such a great time from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of history, culture, and comedy. The hosts did an excellent job explaining the traditions of sumo while keeping everyone laughing with their fun commentary. One of the highlights was watching audience members get invited into the ring to participate. It was hilarious watching people try their hand at sumo, and it made the whole experience feel much more interactive than just sitting and watching a show. We also loved mochi pounding. It was a fun, and a great way to experience another piece of Japanese culture. The meal was delicious, and I really appreciated that they had a vegetarian option for me. It's always nice when everyone in the group can enjoy the same experience without feeling like an afterthought. This ended up being one of those experiences we weren't quite sure what to expect, and it completely exceeded our expectations. If you want an evening full of laughs, great food, fascinating history, and a chance to experience a side of Japan you won't soon forget, don't miss Sumo Land!

So much fun! If there isn’t a sumo competition in town when you’re visiting, this is a great option. It was funny but we also learned about the history of sumo. My son loved getting to try to wrestle a sumo wrestler!

Really fun experience with opportunities to participate. We learned about the Sumo traditions in a fun environment and the food was delicious as well.

Entertaining fun for the family. Dinner was good. More informative but less actual sumo wrestling. Be prepared to participate!

This was so much fun! The entire staff made us feel welcome. They helped us with the lunch, explained how everything worked and gave everyone chances to participate. It was humorous as well as being informational and I learned a lot about the life of a Sumo wrestler as well as the customs for a match. I highly recommend this show - it's great for all ages.
