This tour covered so much of the Vatican’s highlights but did not feel rushed. Juliana was delightful—full of information and patiently answering questions. She always considered our comfort on such a miserably hot day. The tour was a great experience.
It was difficult to hear/understand our guide most of the time. There was more time outside in the heat than I expected. The guide was knowledgeable and very nice.
julianna was very intelligent, professional, and savvy with how to navigate the chaos of the vatican
Timed entry is great. The mandatory ear buds are helpful, except there are a fair number of gypsy guides who create a lot of noise. The Museum guards are traffic cops. Try to get a seat to look at the Sistene Chapel. It’s difficult to look straight up standing.

We had one of the English speaking guides, Kira (sp) who was absolutely fantastic! She helped us understand the history and art we would be seeing in a knowledgeable and fun way. She even took some time to help my elderly father see something special on one of the maps on the Vatican walls, and she made sure to find a couple of resting spots for him as well. It was a marvelous experience - a highlight of our trip.
