This tour was great! Chad was a fantastic tour guide. The tour had a good mix of history, facts, and jokes that even my teenagers laughed at. I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour with a wonderful guide. Josh was informative, funny and friendly. Note - the van is bumpy so if you are prone to car sickness take an anti-nausea med ahead of time.
We had a great time with Chad! Since we only had a short time in San Francisco, we wanted a tour that would help us see as much as possible without feeling rushed. Vantigo delivered exactly what we were looking for. Chad was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the city’s history and neighborhoods come alive. Beyond all the great information he shared, he added thoughtful touches like music, photo stops, and plenty of local recommendations. And of course, Harvey, the vintage VW bus, made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. If you’re looking for a great overview of San Francisco in just a few hours, this tour is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
Only had a day in San Francisco after a business trip and boy was I glad this stumbled upon me! Great way to discover the city. Josh was phenomenal with his local knowledge and paired with the ol’ VW van immersive experience - couldn’t have been a better way to spend my day :) It is really worth taking the tour! Highly recommend!
Josh was a funny, friendly, and full of info! His tour gives you a great feel for the city, along with a history lesson. He even gives you written recommendations for events and dining!
Chad(the driver/tour guide) and Harvey(the blue VW Bus) were exceptional hosts. They both cheerfully drove us around the beautiful city of San Francisco. It was a great experience for my family as we got to see and learn so much more than we would have with a big tour company(think double decker hop on/off). I truly felt like a local for the morning. Hands down the best tour in SF. Highly recommend for a family or anyone looking for a more intimate tour experience. Definitely worth a repeat on our next SF adventure!
This was such a blast! Chad was a delight! So funny and full of energy and was full of knowledge on history of San Francisco down to the last detail!! He was on time and kept things moving in a timely manner! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic tourbof San Francisco in a 1970s era VW bug. Chad was very knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us a wonderful tour of the city. He was always happy to take pictures, and shared not just the history of the city butbalao his memories as a native.
Cute idea but… had two brake downs. The very nice guide struggled to get it restarted twice. Just know the VW’s are vintage to the point of inadequate seat belts and heating during 60 degrees. Driver insisted that 6 passengers rotate seats even if all said they were fine. So 3 -80 yo’s crawled into and out of third seat. Narration was dull.
