Efter 2 timers vandretur får du viden om byen Bergen fra de tidlige middelalderlige århundreder til vor tid. Bergen har et kaldenavn som "Hovedstaden i fjordene" og "Center for medeival handel". De gamle kvarterer i Bryggen bevarede ånden i den mellemliggende handelsby, der for mange århundreder siden blev den travleste handelsvej i Skandinavien. Mange berømte nordmænd er født her. Du vil besøge Bergenhus fæstning og Haakon Hall, der blev centrum for kongelig magt i Norge for hundredvis af år siden. Ingen indgange, du vil se dem fra fortets gård. Du vil blive nedsænket i den virkelige atmosfære af fortiden og vil også få oplysninger om livet i denne by i dag. Det er ikke kun en historisk tur. En af de ældste fiskemarkeder i Norge hvor man kan se, smag og spise retter næsten tilberedt næsten fra alle typer fisk, der kan fanges i norske fjorde.

Middelalderlige fæstning, der blev plads til norske konger fra 1100 år ca. Den ældste sten kongelige bolig Haakon Hall og forsvar Rosenkrantz Tower både opført i midten af 1200-tallet kan du finde der. Fra fæstningsbastioner kan man nyde udsigten over byfjorden og øernes land.
Dette middelalderlige forsvarstårn kan ses fra alle dele af gamle Bergen. Tårnet er et museum med udsigtspunktet på den højeste etage af bygningen. Vi undersøger det udefra. Det vil tage omkring 10 minutter.
Haakon Hall, der blev opført i 1261, er stadig i brug. Dette er det bedste sted at møde udenlandske delegationer. Den middelalderlige ånd af dette palads er et sandt tegn på historien om Bergen. We are very sorry that this force-major situation happened. We suggested you as the compensation free private tour on the same date or later. You didn`t accept our offer unfortunately. Very comprehensive walking tour of Bergen. The guide has an extensive knowledge of the local sites and history and proceeded at a reasonable pace, permitting time for photos and questions. Bergen weather is usually wet, so be prepared.

This is a great walking tour with a concise overview of the city-center. You get to see the major landmarks and learn some history too. Olaf was an awesome tour guide!

This walking tour we ordered from Vinol Tours. One day before we had a great hike with Olav - mountain guide from the same company. Conversations with Olav during 5 hours of our hike were so interesting that we decided to order him again for historical tour next day. And the highest scores for Olav and Vinol Tours again! Bergen became the the center of medieval trade in Scandinavia many centuries ago. We have visited Bryggen - trading office that belonged to Trading Hanseatic League from the XIV-th century up to the middle of XIX th century. This is UNESCO site. Bergenhus Fortress we have visited also. Very impressive strong point that existing in the city from XII century. We ended tour at the fish market where we have enjoyed a good lunch after the tour.

mA very good tour agency. They helped me with a booking error and ensured that a tour guide was available for my corrected booking in a rather short time. Kudos to Ule and team. My guide for this tour was Alex. He has been in the country for a while and was knowledgeable about the Norwegian way of life. The tour started off from the Tourist Info centre at the Fish Market. We went up the furnicular (extra NOK95) and took in the city view from the top. Thereafter, we went to Bryggen, the church behind it and then to the city centre. There was a Christmas market at the centre and we took in the sights. Alex was very open and answered any questions I had about Bergen, Norway and Scandinavia. He even helped me take my tram tickets and offered to send me links to the Norwegian tales about trolls.This tour was well worth the time and money.

This tour was very informative. We have visited all main attractions in the city center. The most interesting place for me and my wife is Bergenhus Fortress. In 11th century when Bergen became the capital of Norway local kings decided to build their main residence on the shore of Bergen Fjord. More then 200 years The Fortress with Haakon Hall was the main place for the kings. Thanks for people that booked the same tour previously. From their reviews we got information that this tourist agency is distributor of different goods made by local craftsmen. We also bought souvenirs that vinoltours suggesting to its customers.
