Lad os venligst præsentere os selv: vi er Inés & Juanjo, 2 autentiske indfødte guider på Gran Canaria. Hos os kommer du til at opdage og opleve denne øs skønhed med rigtige "lokale øjne". For os er Barranco de los Cernícalos ikke kun en af de smukkeste vandrestier på øen: er en meget vigtig del af vores eget liv, da vores slægtninge har boet her og for os er det som en "legeplads". Vi tager på vandretur, hvor du vil opdage vores endemiske flora og fauna i omgivelser, der ligner noget ud af et eventyr. Hos os vil du ikke kun lære om "teknisk information", men også hvordan lokalbefolkningen har levet og tilpasset deres livsstil på dette sted, du vil forstå, hvordan ressourcerne i dette område blev udnyttet: vand, materialer til at skabe værktøjer , planter (ud over deres medicinske anvendelse). Men frem for alt vil du have en god tid. Der er masser af overraskelser og sjov i vente til dig undervejs - er du klar til eventyret?

Friendly local guides lead you trough a jungle like area up to a waterfall, entertaining and filled with interesting stories about the island, inhabitants and the local nature. Rather easy hike for hikers, but not a sunday stroll ( bring your hiking shoes). Transport from and back to hotel included.

Entertaining and knowledgeable guides who safely piloted us through lush rainforest and over steep mountains. Smooth pick-up and drop-off. Fun to experience a more unknown part of beautiful Gran Canaria. Recommended!

This was a special tour, with great energy, and a fun story was told that included you. The small group concept is great, and I’m really glad there were no commercial stops at all! If you are an avid naturalist then perhaps the level of detail could have been greater. For me this was more a positive than a negative.

Great tour with two local, very experienced, friendly and funny guides. You will learn about some of Gran Canarias history, vegetation and animals with the waterfalls as highlights.

The guides Juan and Inez know a lot about the neighbourghood and share the history of the island with us. They also know a lot about the plants. I would recommended these tour, it is beautiful and very nice

This tour was THE highlight of my 5 day visit to Gran Canaria! Ines and Juanjo have created something quite magical with their tour; a great combination of natural and cultural history with a mischievous sense of quirky silliness that was really enjoyed. The hike itself was beautiful and the plants; flowers and waterfalls breath-taking. I felt super relaxed after this experience even though we had trekked 8km. If I return to Gran Carnaria, I will definitely be booking another of their tours! Can't recommend this experience enough! Gracias!
