Tilbage til Ponta Delgada er gjort af den nordlige kyst af øen.

Part of the review is just that the weather did not cooperate. Rainy and so foggy we could only see a few feet in front. No way to see this iconic lake. We also were to a waterfall with hot pools. Would love to have gotten in but not enough time. Did not love the liquor tasting. Our tour was moved back an hour and it felt rushed all day. Other tours with this company were great though.
Despite a very gloomy temperature in the morning our guide Diago prayed to St-Pierre and it worked... we took lots of photos of Lake Fuego!!! Really beautiful !!! Despite the closed ceramic factory, we went to the thermal bath of Caldera Velha... once again Diago is a great guide who talks about his island as if it were his own... really very interesting!!! thanks to him
The lagoon of fire is fantastic and everything we saw along the way and the various stops we made, were really worth it.
Great little trip round the East of Sao Miguel (Chigaro…probably wrong spelling sorry)! Was a delightful guide. Happy to share his knowledge on the Azores and remembered everybody’s names. Thanks you, would recommend.
Our tour was fantastic! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and well versed I. The islands history and culture. The tour was extremely fun and the sites were gorgeous! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. It was a wonderful experience that I would gladly sign up again!
Great tour with knowledgable guides. Can’t recommend this company enough, have used them in previous trips. Dani and Diego took care to make sure our experience was what we were looking for and adapted it as we preferred as we were lucky not to have anyone else booked! Very careful driving too. On the website it sometimes says to call instead of booking online ( maybe in low season) but don’t let this put you off they accommodated our trip request at very short notice.
I spent three days touring all the magical places on the island of Sao Miguel with Picos de Aventuras, My excellent guide, Eduardo Castello, made sure that I saw all of the best sites from the best vantage points and explained the history and nuances. Highly recommend! Professional and comprehensive !

I had the opportunity to visit the exuberant Ponta Delgada for a last minute escapade to Azores departing from Lisbon. I was so lucky to get a precious reccomendation from a friend to contact Picos de Aventura. And it just couldn't be better. Even with such a very short notice and stay (3 nights) they have managed to provide a perfect 2 days private itinerary that enabled me not just to see the very best of the island but also learn a lot about the local culture and their amazing people, which is usually my biggest interest in a trip. I have been escorted during my stay by Mr. Eduardo Castello, one of the coolest and aknowleged tour guides that I've met in many years. He was not just super friendly and attentive to details but most of all, transmited in such simple manners, the genuine spirit of the Azorian soul. Thank you guys, it was awesome!
