The museum was amazing, and seeing Van Gogh's original paintings in person was a special experience. The audio guide added so much context and made the visit more interesting without feeling overwhelming. Everything was easy to use, and I spent around three hours exploring. Definitely worth it.
The whole visit was really smooth from start to finish. The timed entry meant we didn't have to wait long, and the audio guide was easy to follow. It was nice learning about Van Gogh's life while walking through the galleries at our own pace. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
Highly recommend!! A beautiful museum. One note though - we paid extra for the audio guide. Even though we chose to do the extensive audio guide tour, the extra money was not worth the audio guide. Most of what's on the audio guide tour is already written on the walls. There's no need to pay extra for the audio guide tour. Aside from that, the experience was absolutely perfect. We love Van Gogh.
The tickets worked well in conjunction with the audio tour. Brilliant artist! The audio portion enhanced the experience and allowed us to browse at our own pace.
The museum was great but I booked tickets through Tripadvisor. It turned out ti be much more expensive than if I had booked through the museums home page. I will not make that mistake again.
We had a good time and a great idea on a rainy day. You will learn so much about his life and quest to develop a new style painting. You will get an incredibly detailed look at his life and his work. This was the most complete Van Gogh exhibit we have every experienced.
It wasn’t worth it. The painting i wanted to see wasn’t even there
Excellent decision. All the apps said there were no tickets, but here on Viator there were. The best part is they arrive directly to your phone without needing to go around looking for someone to hand them to you like happens on other apps.
Enough time to visit the museum. History and works of Van Gogh. With audio, you receive a variety of information.
The audio guide was very helpful and the artwork was amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour. Do not go to Amsterdam without visiting the Van Gogh museum.
