❌🚩🚩WORST EXPERIENCE. This company is DISHONEST from the moment you contact them. Every part of their operation is designed to TRAP and SCAM you, they pressure you into WITHDRAWING cash in the middle of the DESERT to not be stranded, leaving you HELPLESS and with no way out. It’s MANIPULATIVE, unethical, and dangerous. They prey on tourists who don’t know better. AVOID this company like the plague if you value your safety, your sanity, and your money. ‼️‼️‼️ 🚩🚩And if your guide’s name is ISREAL seriously, run the other way. Nothing about this setup is legit.🚩🚩❌
Booked this tour online for 29/12/2025. When I arrived the day of my tour, the office wasn’t where it said it was on their website, nor where it said on google maps. It then took about an hour for them to respond to my message about where the office wasn’t located. When I arrived the woman told me I had booked for 30/12/2025 despite me being able to show proof on my confirmation email as well as my messages to the company the days prior She then offered no help at finding me a different tour company that might have availability. Would not recommend this tour company.
Give this company a wide berth! I travelled with tour guide Danny who was totally disinterested and reluctantly shared knowledge about the area and culture when repeatedly asked. Sometimes one word answers. We had 2 people who developed shortness of breath from the altitude. Not only did our vehicles ( we travelled in tandem with 11 guests in total) NOT have oxygen but there was no satellite navigation phone or radio when we were in remote areas with no regular phone coverage. No handwashing facilities were provided before meals and minimal water to drink to combat altitude sickness and prevent the spread of germs amongst the group. Service and lack of health and safety was very disappointing however the landscape and surroundings magical. C’mon Red Planet improve your service!
Vanessa, attentive to our needs, offered us a tour according to our interests with Spanish-speaking guide. He advised us, quite rightly, to hire the slleepongs bags. While we were on the tour they kept your luggage and arranged some bus tickets. At all times he was very friendly and attentive.
The tour was really amazing and consisted of way more than just the salt flats. It had a lot of beautiful surprises. The second night is however on a place with only power from 19:00-22:00 so it will be freezingly cold (so bring warm clothes for the night). The guide Orlando and the driver Gabriël were really nice, helpful and really did their best for us. All considered a really nice experience.
Summary to save you time: circuit --> super drivers --> at the top (special mention for Edgar <3) Border crossing support --> very good guide --> unpleasant food --> basic housing --> passable the first night, CATASTROPHIC the second Conclusion: Performance not at the level of the cost incurred The tour started from Uyuni and took us to the Chilean border. In itself the circuit was very good, nothing to say about the course. The concern lies rather in the choice of accommodation for the second night... Hotel San Marcelo is a fridge that should only be used for food preservation and not for accommodation of human beings... We spent a hell of a night in freezing cold!!! No heating but not even a hot tub provided to help us warm the beds. Given the price involved, this is a situation that is difficult to understand. Moreover, nothing is specified at the time of booking, and so the surprise is harsh on arrival... Some of us were even treated to false advertising with brochures with solicitous photos that had nothing to do with the rooms we ended up in. We had a broken car problem during the day of the 2nd day, the driver team did their best to solve the problem without success. This turned the program upside down and we had little time on the originally planned stops but it is a risk in this type of excursion (even if very disappointing). The agency sent a new car to take over at night and the journey continued roughly as planned. The guide was not pleasant at all and spent his time oscillating between moments when he was super friendly and cordial and unpleasant and authoritarian... Our driver was more pleasant and much clearer in his explanations about the sites we visited... Overall for the price committed the service was clearly not up to standard and this is a criticism addressed in many previous comments... The place is so beautiful that despite these disappointments it remains a memorable moment of our stay. However, the performance of the agency was disappointing and I think you may find it better...
Beautiful experience by jeep departing from Uyuni, visiting the Salar and then south to the border with Chile. We were 10 people on 2 jeeps, with English speaking guide in tow. Overall good experience, tips for the organization: renew the vehicles because they are very old; inform customers of the use of the 2 makeshift seats in the back, because they are very narrow, are good for children but not for adults. Last note on food: it is just enough, it could be improved as quality and variety of dishes proposed during the tour.
I took the 3 days and 2 nights tour, it is a great tour, I highly recommend it, there are agencies where the minimum booking is 2 people and not here, that is super important because there are many solo travelers like me. I booked the private room option and it was perfect, there was hot water in both accommodations, guide Lucio and driver Marco are excellent. I am vegetarian and the food was delicious and enough. The places you visit are beautiful. SUPER RECOMMEND.
I had a great experience with Perla De Bolivia. They provide us the best tour in my 6 weeks trip in South America. Everywhere they brought us was fantastic. Marcia, our tour guide was not only speaking good English, her knowledge and personality are brilliant. Always takes care of us well. Also she gave us honest information about the facility of the accommodation. She was trying to make our trip the best all the time. Additionally, I have to mention the driver as well. I couldn't communicate with him enough because I don't speak Spanish, but I can feel he is so kind. when I was taking the photos from inside of the car, he slowed down to help me take a good shot. I took a lot of tours on my trip in South America. This is definitely the best experience for me. If you are a nature person. this is for you. Great nature, Great people. This tour made me a big fan of Bolivia!! Muchas Garcias Peria De Bolivia!!
Recently I visited Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil. From La Paz I flew to Uyuni the Salt Flats one of the most amazing place I ever visited. A place where the salt flats and the sky meets. It’s so beautiful it’s hard to describe
