Denne strålende 1-dages tur er en absolut perle for dem, der ønsker at se en af de smukkeste søer i verden, men har en begrænset tid i Kirgisistan. Efter at have glidet langs det endeløse blå vand på skibet vil du indrømme, at den distance, du lige har gået igennem for at komme hertil, absolut var det værd! I dag vil du forkæle din sjæl på steder som Burana Tower og Rukh Ordo, prøve det nationale køkken og skabe minder for livet på selve søen!

Om morgenen sætter vi afsted på vores rejse til Issyk Kul søen (230 km). På vejen stopper vi ved UNESCOs verdensarvssted Burana Tower. Denne gamle struktur går tilbage til det 11. århundrede, så den er virkelig et besøg værd. Vi bruger omkring 30 minutter her på at overveje en fantastisk udsigt fra toppen af tårnet, gå rundt for at se balbalerne (gamle sten med afbildninger) og besøge det arkæologiske museum med antikke artefakter. Vi genoptager vores vej til Issyk Kul.
Ved ankomsten til Cholpon Ata (den centrale by på søens nordkyst) spiser vi frokost på en restaurant. Nu er det tid til kirsebær på en kage - en fantastisk skibstur ude på søen. Efter at have roamet 4 km væk stopper skibet på 120 meters dybde. I den varme årstid (maj-september) kan du dykke ned i vandet og nyde en surrealistisk svømmetur (redningsveste medfølger). I de andre årstider får du ikke mindre smuk tid på skibet.
Efter denne vidunderlige oplevelse er vi på vej til et andet fancy sted - det spirituelle center Rukh Ordo, som er dedikeret til de 5 hovedreligioner i verden og også den kirgisiske arv. Her vil du finde en stor fred ved meditation. Vender tilbage til Bishkek.
Vi ankommer til byen omkring kl. 20-21, og efter den smukke dag fyldt med oplevelser vil du være så behageligt træt. Det er her vores tur slutter. Aflever på dit hotel. Hav en god aften!

Was not expecting Burana Tower to be so fascinating, but it was! Our guide, Baiel was very knowledgeable and helpful. Driving to the lake was through beautiful scenery, and swimming in the lake is a must! Be prepared for a long day but the car was very comfortable and the driver was safe. Lunch was very tasty.

Trust the title of being indeed an immensely and breathtaking trip. We went to Burana tower in the early morning which is wisely planned as there was a long line of queue trying to get up the tower when we about to leave. The boat ride allowed us to get a view of Tien shan mountains from the turquoise lake,issky kul lake. I regretted I didn't bring my swim suit and missed the once in a lifetime experience of swimming while looking at Tien shan mountain. I was worried the water would be too cold but apparently it's above 15C. Overall,the ride was very comfy. Driver Mr Ray is an experienced driver and the guide Mr Bek is a cheerful and helpful chap who speaks perfect English.

We had a fantastic experience with Ventura Travels on our-day trip to Burana Tower and Issyk Kul Lake. Ash, the owner, was responsive and helpful with my queries leading up to the booking. Baiel, our guide, was excellent - he had great energy, entertained us, and provided wonderful recommendations for local dishes. He was also a fantastic conversationalist, and I highly recommend requesting him as your guide. Ady, our driver, was patient and calm, and the car provided by Ventura Travels was very comfortable. Overall, it was a memorable excursion, and I highly recommend Ventura Travels to anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan.
