Vores Talking Through Art Walking Tour tilbyder et autentisk sjovt, informativt og unikt personligt indblik i Gikondos kultur, historie og daglige liv. Du vil have mulighed for at udforske nogle af de skjulte områder i vores lokalsamfund, fordybe dig i rwandisk kultur og dagligdag i dette travle og pulserende område i Kigali. Din vandretur vil blive ledet af en lokal guide, der har boet og arbejdet i Gikondo hele sit liv og er et væld af interessant information! Vi vil føre dig ind på et af de travle traditionelle gademarkeder i kvarteret, hvor du vil være i stand til at udforske friske lokale råvarer og nyde den livlige atmosfære. Vi stopper for en lækker frisklavet sambusa-snack og tager en pause i en nærliggende mælkebutik, hvor du kan prøve kølet ikivuguto, en traditionel rwandisk drik.

I really enjoyed this walking tour in Kigali with TTA. Our local guide Omar was the best we could have wished for. He connected small neighbourhood details to the bigger picture of Kigali and Rwanda’s history and culture. This way we could really feel the city. He was clearly a part of the community, people greeted him along the way, which made the experience feel authentic and personal. I came away with a much deeper understanding of Kigali and would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in meaningful local insight rather than just sightseeing.

We got a really good tour through the neighborhood together with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Through him we could easily visit the streets beyond the “ordinary”, see regular shops and experience the pulse of the city. We were a bunch of friends and had a long series of questions that the guide was happy to answer. Highly recommend this hike, as well as a visit to their nice shop!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Talking Through Art walking tour. The tour allowed me to walk the roads where the people of Rwanda live and get a glimpse of the neighborhood and how the community works. My tour guide was a lovely young man who was knowledgeable of the area and curious about other cultures and communities. The weaving that was done by the local women was outstanding. I only wish I had more room in my suitcase! I highly recommend this tour.
