Chiyuki is one of the best guides I ever experienced!
Thank you very much for your comment. I couldn't ask for a better complement !! You gave me such encouraging words. And I hope you enjoyed in Japan a lot. I was very happy to meet you there. Thank you for coming to Japan and Kobe. I deeply appreciate it. Chiyuki
Our guide, Norio Oki, created the perfect sake experience. His efforts began well before the day, having texted us with his detailed suggestions of sake breweries to visit. He solicited our thoughts and was enthusiastic in making changes we desired. None were necessary, as Norio had curated a fantastic list. He was thoughtful and kind, well versed in sake tradition and technique, and led us to a great lunch break. A truly wonderful day.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We visited three sake brewery museums, learned about traditional and modern sake making processes, and we tried many kinds of sake including daiginjo-shu. At the restaurant of sake brewery museum, we enjoyed good food and good sake. I was so impressed by your family's elegant behavior. Thanks again, I had a great time with your family. From your guide, Norio
Yama was the best guide we could wish for a sweat old man that knows the ins and outs make sure you ask for him for the sake tour!
I appreciate very much your most kind and considerate comment. I am glad to know you have enjoyed the tour with me. I have also had a very nice and happy time with you. Particularly, I like your story on New York City, which is very interesting and instructive for me. Besides, I thank you very much for one of the best sake at Kikumasamune Brewery, which I will enjoy for the year-end/new year holidays with my wife. I do hope I can see you again! Doomo Arigato Gozaimashita, Yama PS: Have you enjoyed "Buta-man" (steamed buns filled with port minced meat) at Nankin-machi China Town? That shop is said to be the very original who served Buta-man in Japan.
We joined a half-day tour of four sake breweries in the Nada area and had a very enjoyable experience. Each place had its own character—some focused on traditional displays, others allowed us to see the brewing process more directly. Even though we live in Japan and are somewhat familiar with sake, we still learned new things and appreciated the chance to explore the history and differences between the breweries. Our guests from the U.S. were equally impressed by the level of tradition and craftsmanship packed into such a compact area. The tour was led by Andy, who was knowledgeable and friendly, and kept the pace comfortable for everyone. We’re glad we had him as our guide. If you’re interested in learning about and tasting sake, we highly recommend visiting the Nada district in Kobe and having Andy as your guide.
Thank you so much for your kind review. I truly appreciate your thoughtful words and high evaluation. As a guide, it is my greatest honor to receive such heartwarming feedback from my guests. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed learning about the process of making Japanese sake and understanding the unique characteristics of each brewery. Once again, thank you very much for joining the tour and for taking the time to share your experience. Best regards, from your guide, Andy Murao
Can’t go wrong with a tour where you go to breweries and drink sake. The added bonus with this tour was my guide, Yama, hooking me up with how sake is made and recommendations on a good Kobe beef restaurant. Perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon!
I appreciate your most kind and considerate comment. I am glad to know you have enjoyed the tour with me. I have also enjoyed talking with you, particularly, on N.Y.C. , which is very interesting and instructive for me. I just would like to know your comments on Kobe Beef and Wakayama Castle. Moreover, I would like you to enjoy Japanese Sake, but please do not drink too much, okay? I sincerely hope I can see you again. Doomo Arigato Gozaimashita! Yama
Great walking tour of the Kobe area to several breweries. Got a solid history behind the process of making sake, and also some great views of downtown Kobe. Andy was a great host and super accommodating to the many last minute changes that I had made to the original booking. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your kind review. I really appreciate your high evaluation. It is my great honor as a guide to hear such heartwarming comments from our guests. I am very glad you enjoyed the Sake tour. Also I really appreciate your strong interests to Japanese culture and history. Thank you for listening to my explanation and walking a lot with me. It was also a wonderful and unforgettable day for me. Thank you again. From your guide, Andy Murao
My friend and I had a wonderful time on the Sake tour. We learned all about the process of making Sake. Norio Oki is an excellent guide. He was so accommodating to our special requests which included dietary restrictions! The lunch was delicious and the walking tour from to each location was beautiful!
Thanks for your kind review. We visited four sake brewery museums and learned about the old days and modern days method of sake producing. I was worried about the dietary restriction of your friend, but I was relieved both of you were having fun. I had a great time with you two. I hope to see you again soon. From your guide, Norio
Great communication from our guide Norio Oki. He told us how to get to exact station from downtown Osaka to meet him. We toured multiple breweries and museums and had a great lunch in one of them. Norio was very knowledgeable and keen we understood the Sake making processes. The sake tasting was ok but not the best quality but we learned which to buy later - we didn’t buy on the tour.
Thank you so much for your kind review. Oh, you didn't find the best sake you liked, right? However, all of you tasted many kinds of sake and had fun. The lunch we had was very delicious too. Anyway, we learned a lot on how to make sake. Thank you again, I had a great time with you all. From your guide, Norio
I took the Nada Sake tour with my tour guide Norio-san. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the sake making process. I learned so many things about sake that I had no idea about before touring with Norio-san. He also pick out a fantastic restaurant for a Kaiseki lunch. I highly recommend the Nada Sake tour with Norio-san.
Thanks for your kind review. Yes, we visited Hamafukutsuru Ginjo Brewery, Sakuramasamune Kinenkan Sakuraen, Kikumasamune Sake Museum and Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum. We learned a lot about old-day and modern-day sake brewery methods, and enjoyed a delicious Japanese lunch, too. Thank you so much, I had a great time with you. From your guide, Norio
This tour was amazing! We visited a mix of traditional and more modern sake breweries and the mix was perfect. We learned so much about the sake making process and the history behind it, it made us appreciate the process and the product even more! Yumiko was our guide and she was absolutely incredible. She was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and fun! She had an incredible knowledge of the sake history as well as Kobe beef history. She had incredible recommendations on the route of our tour and where to have our Kobe beef lunch. The Kobe beef lunch was INCREDIBLE. The beef was prepared impeccably and the accompaniments were amazingly delicious. The chef at the restaurant was top notch and provided the best service to our family, even accommodating vegetarian/pescatarian diets. I cannot stress enough how amazing this meal was! If you are wanting to have a truly authentic Kobe beef experience, this is your place! Our group was made up of 4 adults and 2 children (6 & 8 y.o.) and this tour was perfect for children to be included. They enjoyed the sake tours and the Kobe beef lunch just as much as us adults! Kid friendly tours might be hard to come by, so it was a relief that this tour was kid friendly. I can’t recommend this experience enough. BOOK IT!!! And ask for Yumiko because she was absolutely amazing!! This was one of the best days we had in Japan, most definitely. We love you, Yumiko!
