Maria gave a great tour of the old town area and even adjusted our itinerary so we could go up on the wall and hike to the top of the clocktower.

Maria did a great job leading us on a tour of Lucerne. She shared a lot of history going back many centuries. She offered to take photos at places she knew would make a good backdrop. We had a wonderful and informative time with our local tour guide, Roula. Lucern was our first ever stop at Switzerland and having Roula's expertise in culture, art, food and everything Lucern (and Switzerland) was a great way to get us acclimated to the city. This tour gives you a perfect and efficient way to spend 60-90 minutes learning about the key areas of Lucern to be explored during your stay. Having a private tour was also wonderful since we had our 4 year old with us, who was a bit slow during our walk. Roula was great to accommodate and tailor the tour to our speed/needs.
