Vores tur starter fra Mandraki havn med et stop ved det område, hvor Rhodos engang stod og derefter Rhodos Akropolis. Når vi forlader Rhodos by, tager vi mod den traditionelle landsby Lindos. Vi starter vores tur med en køretur rundt om murene i Rhodos gamle bydel - den største beboede middelalderby i Europa. Det blev bygget i 1300-tallet fra ridderne af Johannesordenen. Middelalderbyen Rhodos er optaget på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste. Hvis du vil, kan vi forlænge turens varighed med 1 time, og du kan også have lidt fritid til at gå gennem den gamle bydel og udforske den på egen hånd.
Mandraki havn - vi stopper på det sted, hvor den gamle og legendariske Colossus of Rhodes engang stod. Det var kendt som en af de syv vidundere i den antikke verden.
For det første vil vi få et stop for en betagende panoramaudsigt over byen Rhodos, og så vil du tage en tur gennem templet Pythian Apollo, den antikke stadion og amfiteateret
Vi kommer også ind i Annunciationkirken, som er den største ortodokse kirke i byen med meget smukke håndlavede malerier på væggene.
Efter anmodning kan vi stoppe ved en keramikfabrik for at se, hvordan keramik er lavet - en teknik, der er blevet brugt fra oldtiden til nu. Hvis du er interesseret i at købe smykker som souvenir fra dit besøg i Rhodos, kan vi også stoppe hos en guldfabrik for at finde dit unikke stykke.
Før vi forlader landsbyen Lindos, vil vi stoppe for billeder på en af de smukkeste strande på øen med en fantastisk udsigt
Ved ankomsten til Lindos vil vi tilbringe et par minutter på toppen af bakken for at nyde de spektakulære udsigter og tage imod mindeværdige panoramabilleder før vi går til landsbyens torv.
Din chauffør vil efterlade dig lige uden for indgangen til landsbyen Lindos. Du vil have mindst 1 times ophold til en gåtur gennem de smalle gader i denne traditionelle landsby. Hvis du går op gennem de små, svingende gader, vil du i sidste ende nå Akropolis på toppen. An amazing experience Nikos made us feel so relaxed and was full of knowledge and great anecdotes form his grandfather. We got to see so much of Rhodes and he was always happy to answer any questions we had . Taverna we stopped in was amazing alongside the olive oil and local wine tasting and pottery. We never felt pressured to buy from any of these but enjoyed learning about the history and traditions of this lovely island. Would highly recommend the tour company as nothing to much for them.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Nikos in Rhodes! We had no idea what a lovely island with such great people it was. We have had many great days, but this was probably the best! Nikos was so warm and friendly and tailored our tour to our group! We had one person with walking difficulties and he totally worked with us to make it a wonderful day. Besides the normal ancient sites (which were amazing with Nikos’ insights) we were able to go to a little out of town pottery shop and watch the owner make a beautiful vase! The shop was full of beautiful works of art all made on site! We finished with a fantastic Greek meal - best food ever! Would highly recommend!! A day to remember! ❤️

I highly recommend using Rhodes Taxi Tours. From the very beginning they were very responsive and in constant communication. Our driver Mr. Nicholas was EXCELLENT!! He was extremely knowledgeable and made our experience on this beautiful island superb!
Such a tour is bound to be a great experience because of the island's beauties. Bur I cannot describe how excellent an experience we had with our guide-driver. Knoledgeable, well acquained with Rhodes. My daughter and I fast felt as if we were given a tour of Rhodes by a dear friend who happened to have lived there for most of his lidfe. We booked a day trip (5 hours) via Rhodes Taxi Tours. The taxi picked us up directly in front of the hotel. Our driver was Nicholas. He was a very friendly and professional driver! He was able to tell us about the history and sights of the island. He was flexible as a driver. It was easy for us to reach the sights we wanted and the driver knew well what to do to save time.
