Udflugt til Q'eswachaca Bridge - Gruppetur

Turen til Qeswachaka Inca Bridge begynder med afhentning fra dit hotel fra 4:30 til 5:00. Vi fortsætter næsten en to-timers tur gennem den sydlige del af Cusco og besøger de fire laguner. Efter at have nydt en stille stund nær lagunerne, besøger vi den lille vulkan Pabellones, som ligger nær byen Yanaoca. Så ankommer vi til den imponerende inkabro. Denne Inca-hængebro er lavet af plantefiber (Ichu) og er placeret over Apurímac-floden i distriktet Quehue. Eksistensen af denne bro går tilbage til inkatiden. Renovering og vedligehold udføres en gang om året af lokalbefolkningen fra de fire omkringliggende samfund. Inden renoveringen af broen påbegyndes, gives et tilbud som et tegn på respekt og taknemmelighed til Pachamama. Vi får mulighed for at krydse inkabroen på begge sider. Men pas på, det virker nemt, men det kræver mod.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Americo was a great guide. Mostly in Spanish (I don't speak spanish) but it didnt take anything away from the experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Cusco. Bring motion sickness meds if you are prone to feeling ill. It is a lot of driving on very curvy roads. I forgot my meds and regretted it.

I loved meeting Victor who was responsible for helping to organize the building of the bridge each year. We saw beautiful flamingos!
Wally was amazing! Cool trip - we got to see the how they made the bridge from scratch from one of the people who helps rebuild it every year. Also got to take part in a coca ritual to the nature to grant us safe passage across the bridge. It's a long journey to get to, but a pretty cool story to be able to tell - thank you Wally!
