Udflugt til Cafayate og Quebrada de las Conchas

Vi rejser til byen Cafayate, solens og vinens land, beliggende i Calchaquí-dalen, 180 km fra hovedstaden Salta, ad en af de mest imponerende og berømte ruter i det nordlige Argentina. Besøg i provinsens vindyrkningscenter, krydser La Quebrada de Las Conchas. Erosion har dannet en række naturlige vidundere såsom La Garganta del Diablo, en dyb, lukket kløft. Amfiteatret (med perfekt naturlig akustik), Toad, The Friar, The Obelisk, The Castles. Lidt efter lidt bliver det tørre landskab erstattet af store vidder af vinmarker, indtil det når en af de mest imponerende regioner i Calchaquí-dalene: Cafayate, en by med en-etagers huse med kolonial- og barokarkitektur fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede.

Besøg i provinsens vindyrkningscenter, krydser La Quebrada de Las Conchas. Rute: National Route 68 (Vinrute); Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, La Viña (teknisk stop)

Lidt efter lidt bliver landskabets tørhed erstattet af store vidder af vinmarker, indtil man når en af de mest fremragende regioner i Calchaquí-dalene: Cafayate, en by med en-etagers huse mellem kolonial og barok fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede. Quebrada de las Conchas: Mere end 10 stop ved flerfarvede formationer forårsaget af vind- og vanderosion som La Garganta del Diablo, El Anfiteatro, La Yesera, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos osv.
I Cafayate får du mulighed for at besøge en vingård og smage de bedste vine i området. Selvom regionen altid refererer til Torrontés, har stedet et stort antal hektar dedikeret til røde druer som Malbec, Tannat eller Cabernet Sauvignon.
Besøg byen Cafayate og en vingård. Vi vil have 2 timer fri i byen til at spise frokost og udforske. Landsby med en-etagers huse mellem kolonial- og barokarkitektur fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede. (Frokost og drikkevarer er IKKE inkluderet i prisen)
Vi vendte tilbage til Salta gennem Quebrada de las Conchas på Route 68, hvor vi gjorde de stop, vi gik glip af på den udadgående rejse og turnerede i dette smukke og unikke landskab i Argentina.
Inden vi ankommer til byen Salta, gør vi et teknisk stop i La Viña eller Talapampa for at købe en snack eller gå på toilettet.

Our guide Jes was great she explained everything in a lot of detail in both Spanish and English, the views were breathtaking. However the bus did not have a functioning AC which made the trip unbearable, we also couldn't open all the windows so the temperature inside and the lack of air was horrid. Personally I also didn't care for the stop in the winery the guide there did her best to explain things in English but it wasn't very good. I understand Spanish and I booked this tour for the Quebrada so it didn't matter to me but if you are interested in that part be aware they don't really speak English.
Tour is great, the Canyon is beautiful and wineries on the other side is interesting as well Tour is done with care, pick up on time. All information is equally in Spanish and English, and the guide takes care so everyone feels good. Van was comfortable, seats had head support The drive is quite long, but road and driver is good. We left salta around 8 and returned around 7-9 as well

Terrible experience on the Tour to Cafayate with Quebrada Turismo which I booked with Getyourguide. Terrible communication with the company. They kept me waiting almost an hour for the pickup. When I informed the guide (Martín) that they had been delayed for a long time, he told me that he is only the guide, that the complaints go to getyourguide or Quebrada Turismo. Martín got all rude because I had complained about the delay in picking up. The visit to the winery is only in Spanish so for those who speak only English it is not worth doing it. The tour doesn't stop in all the viewing points mentioned (only in 4 of them). You just drive and see them as you pass The tour guide Martín was sitting adelites in the van reading the "script" only what we were seeing, little interaction with us. In short, terrible professionalism of the guide Martín and the Quebrada Turismo company
