Thank you for your kind words! We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated our guide’s knowledge, patience, and professionalism. Your satisfaction means a lot to us, and we hope to see you again on another tour soon!
I actually feel quite torn not being able to give a full 5 star rating. Positives: The tour began almost on time, and our guide was very clear about meeting times throughout the day which was appreciated. We returned to the city on time. The stops at Borjomi, Rabati and Vardzia gave us sufficient time to explore, with the cave town a great highlight of our day. David translated the tour in Russian and English. Great guy. The van was comfortable and the driver was excellent. I sat up front and was impressed with his fast, but skillful driving. Negatives: The tour was not advertised for only able bodied participants, so we ended up waiting for unfit people to try to climb the stairs in Vardzia caves. It might be an idea to let people know that they will be climbing stairs for 90mins in the sun in your advertisement. The restaurant we attended for lunch was overpriced, but this is always the case regardless of who you do a trip with. Your customers would be much happier if you just took us to a village and let us choose where to eat or give us time to explore instead. My meal was embarrassingly small. And to be honest, I am sick of being forced to go to tourist trap restaurant stops on day tours. My day was interrupted by the customer service team 2 hours into my tour, demanding that I pay for the entry fees, which I elected to be prepaid and included when I booked the tour. They admitted fault in the end, and David was fabulous, paying entry fees for my friend and I, who had no doubt, simply taken advantage of what was an administration glitch on viator. But asking us to pay extra on more than one occasion was unacceptable, with the agency attempting to video call me while I was trying to enjoy my tour! They did the same thing to my friend, although he did not get an attempted Video call. So... I have done better tours here in Georgia, since I was here 9 weeks, but this overall... this one was satisfactory and based on the comfort of the van, the locations visited and the guide I would still recommend.
Hello dear traveler, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are truly glad that you enjoyed the comfort of our van, the excellent driving skills, the punctual organization, and especially the work of our guide David, who always goes above expectations. Before every tour, we make sure to send our guests all the details in advance, so that everything is clear and well-prepared. We were also happy to arrange the front seats for you and your friend upon your request, as we always do our best to satisfy personal needs. Regarding the entry fee matter, there was a system error beyond our control. Still, our team immediately took responsibility and covered the fees for both you and your friend, ensuring you had a smooth and enjoyable day. As for Vardzia, it is one of Georgia’s most unique highlights. Naturally, it involves steps, climbs, and sometimes hot sun – but of course, the weather is not something we can influence. We appreciate your understanding on this point. Concerning the lunch stop, the reason we pre-plan restaurants is to keep the tour on time and organized so that all guests can fully enjoy every location without delays. That’s why, as you mentioned, the tour was perfectly on schedule. Considering the comfort, the timing, the professionalism of our guide and driver, and the unforgettable sites you visited, we truly believe this tour deserves more than 3 stars. Still, we sincerely value your review and recommendation, and we look forward to welcoming you again on another journey.
