Confirm your itinerary multiple times. Briefly we arrived early to learn our reservation was changed; a 10 am bus tour for a winery tour and pasta making was changed to a 9am walking tour. Tour guide had me speak with their office, but I guess I didn’t ask enough questions prior to our trek thru the streets of Florence. Overall a disappointing day.
Our experience was wonderful. Would highly recommend this to any traveller interested in learning how to make yummy and authentic Italian food. Beautiful scenery as well. The tour guides and cooks were excellent, very friendly, informative and fun to learn with. Eleonora, Francesco, and Cristina - our warmest thank you for the unforgettable experience.

The BEST experience ever!!! My trip Would have not been the same without this class and Letizia, Francisco, and Francesca were such great hosts and made us feel right at home. We made two types of pasta and gelato and they accommodated for me being a vegetarian. The people in the class were also so much fun. Highly recommend doing this on your trip to Italy!!

Great way to end our trip to Italy
Although we ended up with a little booking mishap (the tour start time was changed and we weren’t notified by Viator), the WalkAbout Tour guides worked with us to get us on another experience same-day! And I’m honestly grateful that it happened the way we did, because we ended up on the “ Pasta & Pesto Class with a View, plus Tiramisù & optional Local Market Tour from Florence” tour and it was absolutely amazing! Stefania and Erica were so much fun. They were engaging, very knowledgeable, and helpful. We learned a lot of new cooking skills and Erica and Stefania added so much fun and personality to the class. We are so grateful to them for such a wonderful experience! The pasta and tiramisu were amazing as well as the wine. The view from the kitchen was amazing. Would definitely do this tour again and recommend it to friends!
It was one of the best experiences we had in Italy! The ladies were all so amazing, Alesia and letizia were in particular great! They were so engaged with our group, we had two kids and grandparents. They spoke English perfectly and explained all the steps so well was very easy and enjoyable to follow. We were lucky to have a super small group, and they accommodated a big allergy one of our members had. We did not expect any special testament, was just going to go with it even knowing one couldn’t eat the pasta, and they simply didn’t allow it, and made an entirely allergen green meal for one!! Thank you so much for accommodating us. The venue was stunning, we wished we were able to just stay on the farm for the week!!! They also took tons of family photos for us while we were cooking. Would recommend to anyone, couple, family, alone traveler, was a great experience AND the pasta AND gelato were equally tasty:) thank you!!

Overall this was a great experience, and the tour guides were very enthusiastic and informative! They spoke great English and were very helpful. One downside of this experience was the fact that the listing above states that a tiramisu making experience is included, but we never got that. Instead we got a gelato experience which was good, but I was very excited for this experience because of the stated tiramisu experience. Therefore, I am a bit disappointed in that and believe the hosts should update the listing accordingly to reflect what is and isn’t included. The wine tour went well, some of the back roads were a bit bumpy but the tastings were great. I would still recommend this tour to anyone!
This was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Florence. The food we made was some of the best food that I had in Italy, and now I have the recipes to make at home!
This was way better than advertised! From the great AC bus from train station to the cooking location in the hills to the amazing Nona- Alessia and Chris were great!!! We were the only family with a child (age 12) and they were so great with her. The food? Wow pasta and Gelato we cooked and ate it all! Two kinds of pasta plus probably 15 kinds of gelato! The mint was my favorite-Strawberry my daughters and my husband’s the fig! After the class we did the extended tour with a winery and tasting which was also amazing! The lady in charge of that tour Geneve was so kind and just sweet as pie! If you have the time (it was 10 hours) you must do this tour and you will not regret it!! Thank you all so much you were a highlight!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the pasta making class. I booked it for his birthday and it definitely did not disappoint. Our group was also very small with just one other family who were very lovely. I know this situation isn’t guaranteed but was ideal for us! Alessia and Beatrice were wonderful and very educated. We actually learned quite a lot! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering it. We also did the wine tour afterwards, which was also really nice but very hot so bring a fan! The wine tasting itself is in the wine cellar with air-conditioning. Thank you again ☺️
