Deltag i vores 2-timers guidede tur: Du vil opdage Torinos to sjæle, symboliseret ved dets ikoniske vartegn og skjulte perler. Vores guidede tur starter ved den historiske Piazza CLN, hvor fortællinger om dens fortid og de fortryllende "Tvillingfontæner" sætter scenen for, hvad der venter forude. Derfra vandrer vi gennem den elegante Piazza San Carlo prydet med Emmanuel Philiberts majestætiske ridemonument. Træd ind i Galleria San Federicos elegante omfavnelse, hvor modernitet og tradition mødes i en symfoni af skønhed. Beundre UNESCOs verdensarvssted Piazza Carignano og de tidligere haver i Carignano Palace. Dernæst vil vi udforske den historiske Piazza Carlo Alberto og den travle stemning i Galleria Subalpina. Marvelous historical look into the roots of Torino and the Savoy royal family. A must to start your visit to this beautiful historical city… you’ll enjoy the old architecture and current day use like you can’t imagine. Wonderful guide!! Do this to start your day !

Our guide, Alessio (Alex), was fantastic. He was mindful of the heat and tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible. He was incredibly informative and fun. And also his English skills were quite excellent, so it was easy to understand him. We saw quite a bit that I am not sure we would have seen otherwise. He also let us know about some things to watch out for while in Turin like aggressive panhandlers. I really appreciated him.

History came alive with the animated gestures and story telling of our knowledgable guide. History paraded before us in the grands palazzi and in front of the « istorico caffés ». Each step of the walking tour seemed a wink of the eye at a Tale of Two Cities with its great moments as well as the incidental habits and choices of its historical figures. Learning about Bicerin, guiduja, popsicles, tramanzino, vermut, and the creators of these local delights provided a rich understanding for further discoveries of the city of Turin.
