Tilbring dagen med at besøge Giraffe Center, hjemsted for den truede Rothschild-giraf. Få at høre deres historier på en privat rundvisning. Efter anmodning uden ekstra transportomkostninger tager vi dig gerne med til Elefantbørnehjemmet for at se de babyelefanter, der blev reddet af mange grunde.

Efter en afhentning fra dit hotel, bopæl kl. 9.00, begynder turen med et besøg i girafcentret. Her ser du de storslåede skabninger og lærer, hvorfor de er truet. du vil også lære deres adfærd, egenskaber og mere bevaringsuddannelse. Efter anmodning uden ekstra transportomkostninger, tager vi dig gerne til elefantbørnehjemmet (15 USD PER PERSON) for at se de babyelefanter, der blev reddet. Elefantbørnehjemmet tager imod 200 personer om dagen, og du skal give os besked for at bekræfte tilgængelighed tidligt nok.
Efter anmodning uden ekstra omkostninger vil du derefter blive kørt til Kazuri Beads fabrikken. Dette er et keramikfirma, der laver en af verdens smukkeste perler. Du vil blive vist alle etaperne fra start til slut. Det er også en unik fabrik, da den beskæftiger enlige morforældre fra det fattige kvarter, der tjener til livets ophold for at forsørge deres familier. Efter dette kan vi tage dig et sted hen til frokost og senere slippe dig.

This is a great half day tour if you don’t have a lot of time. The elephant centre is only open for one hour so it can be quite busy with people if you arrive early, don’t panic you will get in! Was great to hear about the work that they do for these orphans to prepare them to go back to the wild. We went to the giraffe centre first at 9am and it was quieter and just amazing to see these beautiful animals up close. We were on a tight schedule and David our guide was great.

I enjoyed feeding the giraffes at giraffe center, hearing the stories of all the animals at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and listening to the inspirational stories at the Bead Factory. Overall, it was an amazing experience and my tour guide Calvin was amazing.

The driver and guides we had were awesome! Very friendly and professional. The Elephant orphanage and Giraffe center were amazing. Everything I had hoped for. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place to visit and experience. You get to feed the giraffes and learn about the giraffes. Facilities are nice and although it seems it’s always busy it’s worth a visit

The staff were very knowledgeable. Our speaker gave my group a talk on the center and the giraffes. Feeding the giraffes was amazing and it was set up in a great structured manner.

After my tea plantation tour was cancelled due to the lockdown, the company made a suggestion to spend the day around Nairobi. Chris picked me up. What a fine young man he is! We went the the giraffe centre, beads factory and Karen museum. After that we had a great lunch. We drove via a slumb back to the hotel. Thank you for making a plan. I had a great day!!
