Udforsk landsbyerne og landskaberne omkring Tenerifes Mt Teide og Masca-dalen på en heldagstur! Efter at have forladt det sydlige Tenerife, gør din vej gennem UNESCO World Heritage-listede Teide National Park, hvor der er masser af vulkanske seværdigheder. Passere gennem Vilaflor, en af Spaniens højeste landsbyer, stoppe for billeder ved øens berømte drage træ over 3000 år gammel i Icod De Los Viños. Nyd Garachico den oprindelige havn på Tenerife, som blev ødelagt af den sidste vulkanudbrud og berømt for sine naturlige sten pools. Så Masca landsbyen på en klippe den smukke kanariske landsby gemt i bakkerne. Med meget mere at se og opdage med denne tur vil du ikke blive skuffet. Du vil have tid til frokost i en anbefalet restaurant eller tage din egen frokost, som der er mange steder at sidde og spise. Et kort stop i en af de højeste landsbyer i Europa. Kun hentninger i syd.
Tag en dejlig tur rundt om de berømte klippeformationer med fantastisk udsigt over Mount Teide vulkanen og nationalparken. Udsigt over bassinet, hvor jorden sank under konus af Teide under udbruddet. Nogle gange kan vi stoppe ved Zapato de la Reina rock formation.
Se Chiñero vulkanens lavafelter (det seneste af udbruddene her på Tenerife 1906)
Stop i Icod de los Vinos for at se på det gamle drage træ 3000 år gammelt. (den gamle fortælling er, at hvis træet er skåret, vil det blø.) Landsbyen Icod er rustik med den typiske kirke og plaza.
Tilbring lidt tid her i måske de smukkeste landsbyer på Tenerife. Min lille landsby gemt i foldene af vestlige Tenerife. Et samfund af mennesker, der ønskede at være skjult fra resten af øen. Fantastisk udsigt over en kløft, der fører ned til Los Gigantes. MASCA HAR VÆRET LUKKET I AUGUST MÅNED PÅ GRUND AF BRANDRISICI.
Garachico er den oprindelige første havn på Tenerife, indtil den blev ødelagt i 1706 af vulkanudbruddet. Har tid til at tage en tur gennem byens centrum eller tage plads på pladsen under træerne og nyde udsigten.

Afhentningssteder og tider
Pick up punkter er i kystresorts i Tenerife, tider kan variere afhængigt af hvor du bor.. De fleste pick ups er før 08.30 Landdistrikter ud af vejen vandrerhjem / Airbnb-kunder bliver nødt til at rejse lidt for at nå de større kystbyer. Vi afhenter ikke fra alle hoteller. En tæt central punkt kan udstedes til dig. (kort gåafstand) VI HENTER IKKE I SANTA CRUZ, LA LAGUNA ELLER RURAL AREAS. Vi afhenter ikke fra PALM MAR eller ABADES. Alle nord pick ups er kun fra PUERTO DE LA CRUZ. Vi besøger ikke længere klipperne i Los Gigantes. Costa del Silencio og Las Galletas afhenter vi kun tirsdag og torsdag El Medano vi afhente hver dag, men ikke på onsdager eller fredage.

We ordered English tour, result was that tour guide talking 80% Spanish, 15% German and rest was A1 level English (e.g. “now we go north”, “we can see Mt. Teide” ….). We were not stopping for anything interesting or view point, mostly at cafe or shop. Lost day from our holiday

I am sorry to see you missed out that we stop for Guarachico and Icod to see the Dragon Tree in the lovely village along with Masca and Teide national park. The two coffee shops we stop at are for bathroom breaks required by law. Maybe it was just not your thing.
Masca Valley, one of the key parts of the tour, was closed throughout August, due to fire risk. But this was not mentioned on the website at time of booking (3rd August), nor in any emails to follow. We only found out when we joined the tour bus on the day (5th August). The itinerary has since been updated. Obviously the closure is out of the tour operators control but it would have been good to give us time to reconsider. Not enough time at Teidi to look in visitors centre. A lot of time on the bus.

We did add an update to our platform on 1st August regarding the situation, although we are unsure why this information was not visible to you at the time, and we sincerely apologise for this. This has been a very unusual and unfortunate situation. Due to the exceptional weather conditions and increased fire risk, Masca was temporarily closed at very short notice. As stated in our tour information, itineraries can occasionally be subject to changes due to unforeseen weather and safety conditions. Thankfully, the weather has now cooled and we are pleased to say that Masca has reopened. We completely appreciate how disappointing this must have been, particularly given the timing of your visit. It was an unfortunate combination of circumstances and, unfortunately, bad timing. We have taken this experience on board and will do our very best to be even more prepared and proactive should we face another short-notice closure due to fire risk or other exceptional circumstances. Once again, we are very sorry for the disappointment and appreciate your understanding.
Wonderful! We saw so many beautiful places in one day. The guide was knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the history, geography and culture of Tenerife. She talked in both English and Spanish, so it was a great opportunity to practise our Spanish listening skills. The only negative thing - not enough time to explore the Masca village. It was rushed. After quite a long and scary journey up the hill, we should be able to spend more time up there. Good value for money.

The guide should speak more in English
Many thanks for your review. The guide has to split the languages evenly. We do try to keep languages seperate when we can., however it is not always possible. Mixing a langauge or 2 keeps the cost down for clients wanting to partake in the trip.

Hmm we did Tiede by night I was expecting more. To be fair though I live in Shetlsnd where we have Aurora Borielis regularly and some mind blowing sun sets can't say I'd recommend this trip its quite pricey for what you get

It was not the highlight of our journey. Most of our time was spent in the minibus between the planned places to visit.

A 9 hour experience that didn't feel half that long. Huge praise for the guide, Isidro, and the driver, Ramon. Isidro was full of great information that didn't feel overwhelming and forgettable, and with a pinch of his humor, that added to the overall charm, helped us create some forever lasting memories. We had some free time in every place that we stopped at. Sometimes just about 20 minutes to take pictures or absorb the views, sometimes longer, so we can drink a coffee or eat something quick. All in all great trip!

Great tour with stops along the Tenerife coast and mountains in Masca and Teide. Well worth the cost.
