Dagstur til Kazbegi-regionen - Georgiens militære vej. Udforsk bjerge, floder, slotte, den hellige treenigheds kirke Gergeti på 2130 meter (1.3 mi) højde og storslået udsigt over Kazbegi.

Zhinvali, også Jinvali, er et kunstigt vandreservoir beliggende ved floden Aragvi i Georgien. Bygningen af den hydroelektriske dæmning dannede Zhinvali-reservoiret. Dæmningen er bygget i 1986. Du vil glæde dig over vandets perfekt blå farve omgivet af bjerge. På dette stop muligt at få en tyrkisk kaffe og andre snacks.
Ananuri fæstning er et slottkompleks på sekstenhundrede på floden Aragvi. Fæstningen står ved siden af den berømte georgiske militærvej, med udsigt over en stor Jinvali-sø. Dens høje tårnbygde stenvægge beskytter to kirker, en vagttårn og et reservoir. Hovedkorsfacaden er smukt udskåret med dyr, blomster og keltiske stilmønstre.
Et fantastisk naturligt fænomen - sammenflugten mellem to floder med sort og hvid vandfarver
Det næste stop på vores vej er Gudauri, et bemærkelsesværdigt skisportssted i Georgien. Den udvej ligger i en højde af 2200 fod (2200 meter) over havets overflade. Den første nedre liftstation er på 1.928 meter over havets overflade, og den sidste station er på 3.306 meter kaldet topmødet Sadzele. Udvej tilbyder skiløbsmuligheder af høj kvalitet. I sommer- eller vintersæsonen kan du med god vejr nyde en tur på den længste svævebane her!
Rusland-Georgien-venskabsmonumentet eller Georgievsk-monumentet er et monument bygget i 1983 for at fejre det halvtredsårige af Georgievsk-traktaten og det igangværende venskab mellem Sovjet-Georgien og Sovjet-Rusland. Fantastisk udsigt!
På krydspasens højeste punkt er en lille militær kirkegård indhegnet. Et symbol på de brugte krigsfanger, der blev brugt i 40'erne af det sidste århundrede på vejen og døde her.
Kilden til mineralvand og usædvanlige klipper, der er dannet her gennem millioner af år. Stop er ikke tilgængeligt om vinteren (fra december til april).
Det er den tredje højeste top i Georgien (efter Mount Shkhara og Janga) og det syvende højeste topmøde i Kaukasus-bjergene. Kazbek er også det næsthøjeste vulkanske topmøde i Kaukasus, efter Mount Elbrus. Topmødet ligger direkte vest for byen Stepantsminda og er det mest fremtrædende geografiske område i området. Mount Kazbek er den højeste top i østlige georgien.
På en højde på 7119 meter (2.170 meter) blev det tolvte eller det trettende århundredes monument opført på Mkinvarcveris sydlige skråninger. Gergeti Trinity Church er et vigtigt tempel, bemærkelsesværdigt for sin smukke natur. Gergeti Trinity Church er indstillet på en bakke lige under den hvide massiv af Mount Kazbek, der sidder på 5.033 meter. Bygget for seks hundrede år siden, har stenene forfulgt gentagne blizzards, regn og invasion at stå som et stolt symbol på georgisk modstandsdygtighed i modgang af modgang. På vej tilbage til Tbilisi stopper vi på en af restauranterne i Pasanauri landsbyen. Dette sted betragtes som fødestedet for georgiske dumplings - Khinkali. Her kan du også prøve frisk flodfisk, lam og meget mere.

We had a wonderful experience with Khatuna, she was the best guide, very professional, kind and funny. She helped us choose a nice restaurant and was also a very skilled driver, so driving with her was comfortable and safe. The trip was very well organised and planned, we had enough time to explore all the locations, and there even was the possibility of travelling from Gudauri to Kobi by cable car. I would recommend this private tour, it allows you to visit one of the most significant and iconic places in Georgia at your own pace with a magnificent guide.

Overall very satisfiled. The weather up at Kazbegi was clear, scenery was stunning. My guide Aleksi has good English. He was very knowledgable about the history and culture of the area. He described the carvings on the monastery wall at Ananuri in some detail. He stopped wherever I wanted and was careful driving. Had snow tyres because the weather can change rapidly up top. He has contacts at Stephantsminde if you want to get a 4x4 up to Gergeti church

The tour was awesome. Best one day tour one can do in Georgia. Also the Guide Alexi explained everything, and also gave us enough time at each stop :)
My friend and I had a memorable, and memory-filled, time on this tour. Initially, I was nervous about driving up the mountain roads. But Khatuna proved to be a fearless and capable driver—and even better, a cheery and wonderful conversationalist who answered ALL our questions about Georgia and the sites along the tour. This tour was one of the best days of travel I've ever had. The mountains were awe-inspiring. The drive, gorgeous. The churches, so historic and moving. And some great views of free-range goats! If you're going to Tbisili, this tour with this company is a MUST. Ask for Khatuna. She is the BEST!!

We booked this tour having read positive reviews about the agency. The owner of the agency initially proved correct in sending messages for the organization of the tour the day before and was punctual on the day of the meeting. Too bad that the following things happened: 1) the restaurant was not booked before and we arrived for lunch at 3am after finding others closed. The one where we ended up made us wait 2 hours before eating (and on this the agency was very sorry and apologized) 2) but very serious, the owner of the agency got drunk together with other tourists maybe his friends on the bus on the return trip, dirtying the bus (and provoking the ire of the driver), stopping about 6 times the bus for him and his friends (who obviously had to drink to go to the bathroom) and insulting the people who complained of such behavior and inconvenience for the whole group, including the guide who accompanied us, a very nice and kind girl, the only really professional. Not to mention the driver, rude and with a totally reckless driving. In short, after all this we canceled the tour we had booked with this agency for the next day, and the.owner, peeking, even asked us why!!!! After telling him that all this was unacceptable and that being the owner he should keep a responsible behavior avoiding pandering and having adolescent behavior, that you do not insult random people because you are drunk and that all this resulted in discomfort for all the other people who had not drunk, he told us that we should take a private tour and not a group, because he can not avoid drinking!!!! And that he that day was not the boss, BUT A TOURIST!!!!! incredible, conuqnue never again!!!
